I'm now starting to think that a lot of the die hard "Letby is innocent supporters", on mumsnet and X may be related to Eirian Powell and the hospital managers. They must have a vested interest in making out there had been a miscarriage of justice in the run up to the inquiry.

It’s on X - she took a restraining order out on someone that was claiming her PHD was false on there & on Reddit

it all came out in court that her PhD is false and she’d cut & pasted it & made spelling mistakes, signed it by someone that no longer worked there too

been going on for months but it’s only just been reported now in the link 0’lee shared

It’s her way of saying “if your face fits” I’m sure. I’ve had some terrible managers in my time and some wonderful ones. The bad ones are always well in with someone higher up the food chain and have a little clique around them of large, lazy, witchy bumlickers. One ward manager used to come in wearing heels, not even trying to hide the fact she was planning on sitting on her a all day. Even more shocking as she would be part of the arrest team and no way could she hurry her stodgy frame in those shoes. Edited to add, I am also large, but I can move when the situation demands it 😅

I've just read that portion of the transcript now. When the KC points out that this nurse's mistake was much less serious than Letby's, Eirian says defensively, "But she didn't like being told that what she did was wrong...You can't have people who can't take the criticism." The level of cognitive dissonance there is quite spectacular.

How does she sleep at night? I hope she gets the bleeping book thrown at her. That Lucy Letby discussions group on Facebook is something else. Even after everything that’s coming out in the enquiry, they still bleat on about her innocence. They still think she’s going to be exonerated and released soon. Christ on a bleeping bike!!! Their bleeping absolute stupidity is painful yet amusing to read. bleeping morons 🤦🏻‍♀️

Have you looked on ITV X news reports from Thursday? I'm not sure it was national or local news, suspect national, i saw a snippet on Facebook but couldn't share the link here

You can hear her voice on the Daily Mail podcasts with Liz Hull and Caroline Cheetham which was available yesterday. You can also hear the voice of Nicola Lightfoot who failed her placement in her final year.

Found Eirian’s cross examination on Facebook, in the clip I saw, she seemed quite meek ( as well as evasive). What a cow she is.
