Well I suppose if she had been constructively dismissed they would have had to report her to the NMC and there would be a red cross against her name on the register rather than a green tick, but the hearings process for nmc cases takes a long time for that to happen. I've known nurses reported to the nmc who have been able to get other jobs until their cases were heard simply because the red cross doesn't appear until their cases are heard?
Would it lead to her being struck off as a nurse?

Wasn't one of the options for her to resign?
At which point, presumably, she could go to an employment tribunal.

The irony of which would be that employment tribunal would require evidence, and those involved would be suitably prepared - unlike the grievance process.

You seem to have an obsession with what you believe the unit did wrong. At the end of the day, it's a fairly unprecedented situation. We can see from today how many chances were missed and they mainly come from a management level. You seem to be more miffed at the unit than the baby murderer...
I’m “obsessed” with the unit because it’s the thing that be changed in the future. You’ll never change the fact there are people like Letby out there, there always have been and always will be - all you can do is learn from mistakes and try to make sure it’s spotted next time. Which is what I’ve fairly consistently said over the past few days despite people being determined to paint me as defending Lucy.

ETA: and to be honest I’m not sure why people are so obsessed with Letby being the only problem and defending a unit and wider people who clearly behaved very poorly themselves and potentially allowed her to go undetected for longer - and added to the parents pain by meaning the first they found out of collapses and incidents was from the police which is just vile.

Was it child G that BNE proved she was lying because of her text messages. Something to do with she agreed feeding would take two hands and be done slowly, but the window of messaging meant it was a really short amount of time. So she was either messaging whilst actually feeding the baby, or it proved she fed the baby quickly. Or was that an older baby.
I didn't think that was child G but I might be wrong.

the article is misleading. She reviewed some of the deaths and found in 5, the cause of death was unknown. She said she didn't have time to review the others.
She is now saying they changed her report into baby D's death to say it was natural.
you'd hope there would be paper trail for who received copies

Pretty certain it is not Janet Cox, there is someone active on Twitter who was a nurse at COCH, she used to be on FB and she has a vested interest in Letby's innocence.

She hates Dr Ravi and those answers sound just like hers.
is that the Facebook page that got set up before the trial even started?

So, as a for instance, there isn't a website for nurses on which if it were reveled that Lucy Letby had been constructively dismissed thus making recruitment more difficult?

That twat Shaun Attwood was on Live yesterday with John Wedger who's been promising for a decade to expose all the major pdf files in British govt & policing but never named a single name. They believe Letby is the scapegat for a Masonic Child Abuse ring centred at the C of C & led by Dr Jayram. He was coining it in. people donating $50US at a time to say "you are da man Shaun" & have him read it out.

Well tbf the two spouting it don't believe it but he had thousands in his live chat swallowing it hook line and sinker.

A little background on Attwood for those lucky enough to have never come across him.
He was a bright boy from t'north, became a young London City banker, made a lot of money, took a lot of coke & mdma. So much so he started selling a bit. Then more than a bit. Ended up in the US selling boatlaods of it. He was known in the scene as Englsh Shaun.

Got arrested, was set to do a long hard time in the US system so he grassed up everyone in his little black book of dealers and distributors, got released early and came home. Then built a very successful YouTube career off the back of pretending he was a hard man. Tapped into the Q anon bs and rocketed the channel in popualrity. Oddly as a sideline his channel also runs a gossip site about the royal family and spends a lot of time rimming Kate & Wills.

Also oddly for a man so positive that everyone everywhere is a pdf file, he has been vlogging his kid harder than any Instagram Mummy Influencer since he was in utero. I am pretty sure they vlogged the birth. They sure as hell recently had a photo of the child in just a nappy as a birthday tribute on his YT Community page.
Hypocritical chancer.
Also there was Shaun and the daddy gate carry on.🤢 . They're both a pair of charlatans.

Who is exactly is Dr Noname/Dr U? Because I thought he was Dr A? Is he a different doctor that she had a close personal relationship with as well?
Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm just a bit confused and I haven't always been able to keep up with the pace of the earlier threads 😂

It’s amazing how often I hear or read something and think, oh yeah I forgot about that. Because there’s so much!!

I can’t seem to find where it said the one in the box was from her first shift though 🤔 just that she was a student. There were so many sources of reporting when she was cross examined though it could be anywhere! I’ll go check the thread from that time.

Oh it was Dan that reported it was first shift

I could be wrong but I thought it was from her first placement as a student.

The delightful Dr Phil Hammond was on Jeremy Vine's Radio 2 show today. Spouting the usual rubbish and saying she deserves to have an appeal so the correct evidence can be shown!

Jeremy then spoke to Andrew Taylor, a criminal barrister from Cardiff. Cannot believe this barrister is comparing this case to the Post Office Scandal! The aforementioned Mr Taylor has only read what is in the press so jumping on the bandwagon - although he claims all those saying she is innocent, are independent experts who have no affiliation with LL.

If you can bring yourself to listen to it via BBC Sounds, the segment starts at 1 hour and 8 minutes into the broadcast.
It remains to be seen if these "independent experts" have no affiliation.
Given that the inquiry may well expose the role played by the doctors guild and nursing union.

I think it's this perverted bastard that's the thick one. So narrow minded and completely blinkered to the truth. Why are Letby fans so dense and stupid.
I laugh at his ‘tattle hate mob’ stuff. I like the attention actually, maybe people browsing Letby on Twitter will see his posts and come check our threads out.

But his repeated attacks on the parents is disgusting. He’s a vile, horrid pathetic excuse for a human being who will never know the love those parents have for their babies.

Some serial killers are not necessarily animal abusers. Dennis Nilsen loved his dog. It was the first thing he showed concern about when he got arrested
Yeah, guess I've always thought that a lot of psychopaths start off with torturing animals before they move on to humans.

I don't think people are defending anybody who isn't a paediatric consultant or registrar!
