At least it wasn't a super long vid! For me, the best bit is at the end. She provided what I think is the most logical explanation for her motive - it made total sense. Also coming from someone that knew her well.

I think that the nightie and tracksuit combo fully supports this knowledge. For a long time I thought it was strange that she is said to have worn her nightie under her tracksuit when she opened the door to her first arrest. When BNE proved her to be lying about being dragged out in her pyjamas (wanna see the footage anyone?) she then admitted (in the trial on 2nd May) that she was wearing her nightie with the Lee Cooper 'leisure suit', and this has been reported as the case since. What I'm trying to say is that if she knew to expect them from a tip off, why keep on the nightie? But if she was half expecting this call each day and then heard 'a lot of knocking' at 6am (2nd May defence), then it makes sense to quickly put on the tracksuit over the nightie

This is shocking. I'm surprised there's not a lot more publicity.

Wtf is going on in the NHS concerning access to drugs cabinets? It seems to me anyone with a nursing or medical degree who's employed on a ward is able to access medications which can and have been used to injure patients and there's no way to track who has taken it out of the drugs cabinet or administered it until someone inadvertently witnesses them doing so, has the bollocks to say something and can find a senior administrative staff member who will listen.

Ferfuxake you do daily stock counts in the hospitality trade and if there's shit missing they start to look at why and through the auspices of whom.

I've worked in methadone clinics in London and Sydney. Every dose of methadone drawn from the cabinet has to be signed off by two staff members. The clinical staff who administer it and another clinical or administrative staff member has to witness the cabinet being unlocked, the measured dose being drawn, the dose being taken by the client, the bottle being resealed, the remainder measured and recorded, the bottle being returned to the cabinet, the cabinet locked & the keys returned to their own secure compartment.. Then there is a daily resolution of the stock at hand with the recorded data at the end of each clinical session. If it does not work out to the millilitre, a full internal investigation is launched.


How can anyone ever enter or see a loved one enter an NHS facility without trepidation after all these revelations?

It should have always been this way, especially on neonates and paeds because the doses are so small and it's easy to make a mistake. There's probably lots of missed drug errors when we single nurse checked.
It's a pain in the neck but pretty much everyone agrees it's the best thing to do.

It’s been double nurse check for a long time on peads, but I didn’t know it had changed for adults. Is that across the board or just ITU?

The Twitter lot could be the worst. They literally know nothing about the case, they even concede they know very little, I don’t think I’ve seen any of them make a specific statement. It’s all vague open ended shite like “the science hasn’t been presented” or “the evidence was flawed”. You tell these people the real facts, they pretend they’re taking it on board then 3 messages later, you’re back to “dr evans isn’t a real expert though” it’s my birthday today so I did plan to take the day off, but i think im addicted to arguing now
