Chatting about what a serial killer looks like...these photos of Rose West don't scream stranger danger to me at all he on the other hand is somewhat questionable.
Infact she definitely looks quite pretty & innocent in the first, the 2nd, standard mum, I probably had a similar maternity dress from C&A & even her mug shot doesn't scream alarm bells.
Absolutely dreadful crimes between the pair of them. I know someone who's sister was a victim and Heather attended our local comprehensive

Been debating saying this, it's going back many years. My ex-husband knew Fred West and I met him once.
Everyone who worked with him said he was the nicest, most polite man you could ever meet. Would help anyone out if he could.
You cannot imagine the shock in the community when it all came out.
It really just goes to show that you can never really know a person.

So at some point tomorrow they will reach 100 hours deliberating.

100 hours split over 22 cases = 4 hours 33 mins

4 hours 33 mins split between 11 jurors= 25 minutes.

So theoretically each juror has had almost half an hour to dicuss each incident. In the real world it doesn't work like that we know but I thought it might just give us food for thought.

Ahhh @SamPam it's tough isn't it love? We had resigned ourselves to the fact that he wasn't ever going to talk. I'm still on a high and even if he never says another word I'm very grateful that I heard him say Mum once. I hope you get your time too

First time posting on this thread, but have been a long time lurker and have followed for a long time.

I have always thought that LL is guilty and, like so many others, felt even more strongly that she is on hearing the evidence the prosecution put forward and then LL giving evidence.

About me:

- I am not ginger (although was for a brief period when I used Sun-In)
- The one time I tried to attend the trial, I found out on arriving in Manchester that court was not sitting (I live near Oxford!)
- BNE moment for me was “Held in confidence? In a bin bag at your garage?”
- I mainly shop for food at M&S (only because I have a discount card and I’m not boujee at all)
- I would never eat Turkish Delight
- Dinner tonight is left over Indian from last night
- I think there will be a verdict this week

Finally, I know that it has been said SO many times and you may all be bored of reading this, but this thread is full of the most wonderful people and you have built up such a community. What I love about it is the support that you give each other and I can only thank you all for all the insights, debates, humour and warmth and support you have given.

Went down to the local beach earlier. Well I have to say the Jet2 brochure didn’t mention the fact that it was a naturist beach FFS!

I had three choices, do an about turn and head back up to the hotel, wander around feeling overdressed, or show off my Welsh railway station tattoo.

Ah well, when in Rome and all that…and to be fair it is mainly my age group as well. Not always a pretty sight but there is something quite liberating about it I must admit 🫣

I’m just out all day and signal is sketchy at the caravan so takes me forever to catch up on even 10 pages and gifs/images don’t load properly. I can pay £5 per day for wifi but I refuse!!

I half believed you till you said this, her parents are no more important to this case me, why would they be told first? Unless you’re alleging that they also have a secret source close to the judge or jury? Nobody in their right mind is going to jeopardise their liberty just to keep LLs mum and dad in the know are they. Cool story though
