I absolutely get what you mean about it feeling heavy. The emotional toll this has taken on so many people. I can't wait for it to be over. Was there talk of continuing these threads on after the trial is over? I think I'd appreciate that. I feel like I know so many of you having read your hilarious posts. I don't consider myself a regular poster but I have never felt so welcomed and part of an online chat before.Well I never… a rum bush is a real thing
I’ve said it before but these threads are a lovely place to be and after years of lurking on tattle it was the rapport on here that made me feel like I wanted to join in.
Is anyone starting to really feel like the wait is getting heavy now? I feel so invested and am struggling to switch off from thinking about the verdict coming in, I am constantly on my phone googling for updates and refreshing on here. I’m not describing it well and I don’t want to take anything away from the parents or seem insensitive to them because it’s not a scrape on how horrendous it must be for them. Just wondering if others are feeling like this too?

I’m also away officially as of tomorrow until next Friday but I’ll keep checking in as there’s no way I want to miss the verdict with you all after following this trial for 10 whole months. I was pregnant when it started and now my beautiful boy is almost 9 months old
Following along with a new baby has really made it hit home what each parent has lost and the magnitude of it all.
I plan on sticking around on these threads for as long as they stick around on tattle even if it’s years after the trial ends. Feel like we are all part of a little club with this weird shared experience. When do we all get matching tattoos?

I can't believe how many different words there is for a roll!
6 more teacakes but there were no staples in the fresh box. I got no sympathy at home either. Mr K wanted to know was it part of my staple diet, 1 of my 5 a day, was I ‘filing’ a report etc …

I'd have sicked up my sausage oven bottom hearing such slush about Forgetby.Sooo I’ve been out for tea with a new mum friend (she’s a children’s nurse) she asked how’s my day/holidays been blah blah… I mentioned following Lucy letby case- have you heard about it?? She said ohh yeah my cousin knew her briefly through friends. Never had a bad word said against her apparentlyuntil the trialand was very gentle, caring, compassionate and thorough in her nursing. I wished I’d not mentioned it as hearing such mushy words about Loopy Sketby put me off my meal.

He alright my loves, he's got a chest infection so I'm grateful it's nothing worse, got Antibiotics for him.
He's a little dehydrated and has been very very sick at the hospital so its Dioralyte by the gallon, a cool bath and bed for him
He's had many of these over the years, so I know he'll be fine but it will take a day or 2. So no jolly holidays for us

I got upto well known member then logged in and had been downgraded to chatty member where I have stayed.... Raging that well known member status took dedication to get and it was snatched awayI've just realised that I'm only 150 odd posts off from hitting VIP status and nearly all of those posts have been either on the Star Hobson trial thread or this one.

She said she hasn’t followed it religiously but her name crops up a lot amongst her work colleagues. She can only go off the opinion she’s received from her cousin too. She said there’s been inconsistencies during her NHS career between Drs, Nurses and the management too which often end with the bottom of the chain (nurses or HCAs) being suspended. She has also taken home handover sheets but obviously accidentally and doesn’t keep them. I got the feeling she swayed towards not guilty as she’s like ‘one of them’ and it’s frightful just how much you can be accused off. She does think the Facebook stalking and keeping the handovers is suspicious though.
Our children was both in same SEN class and they’re only 2 from that school going onto same secondary school next month so for last few months we’ve kind of made an effort to become friends. Wished I was able to go to her birthday party next weekend though in hope her cousin was there too and I could go stalkerish Letby style to find out more goss
