Indeed it is.
Having said that I do remember in an Ashes test a few years ago Steve Waugh was fielding very close to the bat (probably short leg) and the England batter whacked it straight into his nether regions. All the (male) commentators on Test Match Special made a noise as if they had also been simultaneously smacked in the knackers. Anyway they were all speculating as to how painful it must have been while the Australian physio came onto the field to administer the magic sponge or whatever. Just before play restarted dear old Brian Johnstone quipped "And off goes Waugh to deep third man to lick his wounds" at which the whole commentary box collapsed into fits of childish giggles.

Ah yes, cricket on the radio

I love test cricket, the commitment of sitting on the sofa watching/listening for 5 days is glorious.

Not too keen on the 100 though.

Funny you all talking about space yesterday, we had a day out based around seeing a showing at the planetarium as he is doing about space at school next year. The planetarium is up at the observatory, and in one of my favourite places in London (my other favourite place is borough market). The planetarium show was amazing though, you lie back in the seat and they show you the sky/features on the domed ceiling, and it’s presented live by very clever people who are ‘big bang theory’ level of intelligence - really recommend it for those local.

Just wait until after the trial as the planetarium and the facilities right around it are signal blocked so I had to leg it out of there when it finished to check dans Twitter

I was booked to see something similar when Covid started - is it over at Waterloo and set in an old court room? Wouldn’t have anyone to go with I don’t think now sadly, but would be amazing if they televised it eventually - would love to see it!

This question may have been asked a lot before.

I know that in 2016, Letby was moved to an admin role after the suspicious deaths. And in 2018 she was arrested and released on bail. Then in 2020, she was arrested and denied bail.

What was she doing between 2018 and 2020? Still working in the admin job? Working another job? Unemployed?

I’d like to know this. I always assumed she was suspended on full pay but I have nothing to base that on.

Anybody think they have a vague idea of where the jury is up to? Some people seem to think they have gone through the murder charges, and now into attempted murder? Just think think if they are getting through one a day, we’ll it’s going to be a while.
