I had a Bengal cat as a teenager and he had his own instagram page with 4000 followers which I’m ashamed to admit because it makes me sound like Lucy Letby😭

I don't want to admit how many accounts I follow on Instagram that are cat/dog/hamster accounts 🙈

The Costa work reference via @gigilouxx is making me think of weird/idiotic things customers do. My little sister works in Starbucks and just relayed the following exchange:


sis: (Insert obligatory insincere welcome blurb)
What would you like?

C: I want a cappuccino

Sis: Yes sure

C: But I want it without foam

Sis: But a cappuccino comes with foam.

C: But I want it without foam.

Sis: So you want a latte?

C: No, I don’t want a latte, I want a cappuccino without foam. I don’t like foam.

Sis: But you can’t make a cappuccino without foam. (Etc)

(this sent on for ages until my sister just gave up due a backlog forming which was roughly the size of a Glastonbury ticket queue, and made her a latte).

Sis: Here is your capuccino. I have removed the foam.

C: Why didn’t you just ducking do that the first time?!

This is on the same day that another person wanted a refund/return processed, for a cake she had just eaten in it’s entirety. Knowing my sister as I do frankly I’m surprised nobody has yet been poisoned.

I don’t like this at all now. 20 hours is a fair amount of time. Obviously not as clear cut to them as to us 😓
