Just had a Sky News notification myself, and as it was at 2.30pm - when one of you psychics predicted I had a shot of panic! 😆 Only Huw though!

Okay. Phew. I've escaped Peppa Pig World. Now you watch my speech delayed toddler suddenly find the ability to tell his big sister where we've been whilst she's at school 🫣🙈

Scones - as in cones, cream first then jam.
Meal Deal - Hoisin Duck Wrap, Beef Hula Hoops, and never ever the same drink.

@mRsKbRoOkS I know it's easier said than done but please don't feel guilty about taking a sick day until you need one. ❤ You are worth the time. From someone who pushed through and through until her brain packed in and knocked her out of the running for months because she didn't listen. X

So my analysis of the breaking news notifications the last few days is that Sky are nearly always about ten minutes quicker than the bbc. Unless it’s specifically direct bbc news, like the second individual in the HE debacle or statements from the bbc.

Having said that, we don’t even know if a sky news reporter is at the court. So maybe Dan/BBC will still get the news out first. But I’d be surprised if the main news channels haven’t sent even one reporter to wait for the verdict.

I’ve given up on Chester standard given he doesn’t want to even have a live reporting page ready for the verdict.
I've got Dan on notifications but it doesn't seem to do it instantly and even though I ticked for replies to tweets it doesn't give me those. It does give me twitter notifications for tweets from 3 days ago for people I don't follow and have never even looked at, and who don't even have blue ticks - so yeah cheers Elon.

You think old Burgundy would want to be breaking the news since he's been so invested.

Oh @mRsKbRoOkS please don’t be so hard on yourself. I have no idea how you’re functioning day to day as things are, so there is absolutely no room for you feeling any guilt. Things have been and are out of your control, and you need to heal in the ways you can. And putting it simply, you have to put yourself first ie ahead of work etc so that you are able to prioritise your kids.
Work will deal with you being away a lot easier if you are able to give them a time frame of being away - so if you agree you’re off until Wednesday next week but a review with them Monday in case you need more or less time for example. Have a chat with your GP too, they can support you with time off. Sending the biggest hugs to you, I wish I could help but here in any way I can be for you.

Hey lovely Della ❤ I actually cracked today, been sent home from work. Every thing I have been bottling up has finally come out. It’s been such a long week also so much going on with the kids with nearing end of term, I have shows to watch basically every night, and I’ve hit my limit. Boss sent me home and told me to sleep. I hate taking a sick day though, It give’s me massive anxiety and I feel so guilty about it.
Oh hello Wonder Woman.

Well something has got to give, you are being stretched too far. Do not feel guilty about taking time off work, it's just work. You and your little family are more important.

For most of us it doesn't feel natural to put ourselves first. But sometimes, particularly when we've had a big shock or when we're grieving we need to do just that. Give yourself permission to have a sleep if you need it, have a good cry if you need it or to just do whatever it takes to get through the day 🩷 That's not failing my love, it's surviving x

@mRsKbRoOkS bless you. If it’s any consolation I was on the sick for 3 months after my dad died, you need to take care of yourself now and get past the mentality of carrying on as normal because it’ll hit even harder later on. Don’t feel bad for taking time off, you need it ❤ lots of love

@mRsKbRoOkS sending you love and hope you are as ok as you can be. Do not feel guilty, you are the only one who can prioritise you and your family and if that means stepping away from work that’s ok. They sound understanding. Hope you can get some rest today❤

Jeez you guys it’s becoming a full time job trying to keep up with you! Thought something had happened but no just more food chat 😂

Just caught up on 20 odd pages and now it’s time for the school run!

Had a very rare child free day today so treated myself to a M&S ultimate prawn cocktail sandwich, so pricey but so good! I’m 35 and two kids (5 & 2) and a dog and a husband (who I generally love most of the time but for 3 days a month I can’t stand and we are in those 3 days 🫣😬!)

Please slow down to give us slow coaches a chance to keep up!

My meal deal - Hoisin Duck Wrap, Salt and Vinegar Discos and Dr Pepper Zero

It's scone as in cone. Jam first then cream. (I usually skip the cream and just have jam)

Sooooo... Is a Jaffa a cake or a biscuit?

It's a cake. Biscuits have a crunch. Cakes are soft.

I had to do some work (boo) and thought I had missed the verdict. Thank goodness it was all food chat.

Although Sky just gave me a heart attack as they're reporting from Wolverhampton Crown Court atm 😅

I’ll let you off just because I really want to go to the IOW festival, so I’m hoping to befriend you to use your shower/kettle if you’ll tolerate me despite my relative geriatric age, ahem 🤨
I’d really enjoy trying to explain to my missus that the lady using our shower is not some bleep I’ve picked up at the festival it’s just docmum from tattle 😂
