Which babies collapsed after LL holiday? I know, I’m being lazy and should read through the wiki, but I’m so confused with it all and somebody is asking on FB

Wish I could engineer a bot which informs them that as soon as they hit 1000 they’ll get an ant farm posted to their house as a token of the site’s esteem. (No opt-out or returns accepted).

I can see how it would be pretty overwhelming. Sometimes I feel a bit guilty posting on here as it looks like a pretty consistent/close group and it’s probably a bit weird having a ginormous horde of new critters.

I think the signups being closed might have made people even more keen to join and it’s a big influx when loads of people suddenly leap on board. The mods must be living on ProPlus and doughnut multipacks by now in order to keep up with all the madness.

A lot of Reddit and FB pages had constant pleas for invite codes when it was closed, and those platforms tend to be more combative and tone-police more than Tattle, so it might have skewed the feel on some threads.
I agree - It's hard sometimes wondering whether to comment or not as we are all the newbies but for those of us who have been reading the threads for so long, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like I know you all. You have all been so lovely, welcoming and inclusive though ❤- I'm not a weirdo, (not like the ones in the BBC Presenter thread anyway!) I promise :)

Yeah I think Goss is trying to get them to make independent decisions and stop it being used as grounds for appeal. Definitely hope they wrote down the instructions ^.^ though they have bundles with the questions on that they have to satisfy to reach a guilty verdict etc.

Someone on faceache earlier was asking if the longer the Jury deliberates it means the more likely to find LL innocent. I'd have said it was opposite really, the longer they deliberate the more hopeful I am that they have gone through everything meticulously. If there was overwhelming doubt it would be wrapped up fairly quickly imo.
I honestly could vote guilty on all charges without looking at the materials or rehashing the entire bundle. I always thought the materials are there for them if you have questions, or folks on the panel who are visual learners that simply must hold the paper themselves and re-read it themselves (there are people like this - at least one on every job that watched the same powerpoint as everyone else, but had to print it out themselves - no offense to any like this). Or you have points of contention that must be reviewed and discussed. I have never understood it to mean each juror must read everything in the entire bundle again. I always viewed it as the info is right there if recall for events is different, etc. Obviously your legal system is different than ours in the US, but it would seem a tremendous burden on jurors to have to go over all 4,000 pages. My mother could never manage it - she was never a reader and likely had some attention deficit. Personally, I’d love to look at those materials but no way would I keep the parents waiting for justice while I read them all. The case has already been tried, with all evidence and testimony in the presence of each one of them.

I think it's that thread in general, not just the newbies there! It's mental but I can't stop looking

It’s so lovely and friendly here (despite the sad subject matter) that it was a bit startling venturing innocently into ButtChatThread #347. It’s like acclimatising from a nice gentle sauna into Mt. Etna. 😬

They don’t have to go through it all again. The bundle is for reference.
They could make their decision like…NOW.
Oh hurry up!!!

This is a fair observation. I mostly hide in the 'off topic' section, straying off to find out who the bbc presenter was has reminded me why! Back to lurking on Alice Evans/Katie Price and only contributing over here for me! 🤣

That said, I love reading a thread like the BBC one and @Lucyxxxx pops up with a random, funny rhyme and her kind face profile pic. I can only imagine what the people who don't have the LL thread context think about it 😭😂

It’s a group of people with different thoughts and opinions, and they have to be respectful of each other. I have a feeling it may go to a majority.

You guys are lovely, this is one of the only threads that I've seen where the people seem empathetic. I've mostly silently watched a couple of threads, I commented on one where a VIP member was discussing their "reasons for not engaging with newcomers" with a bunch of likes on that comment... felt pointless to continue trying to be a part of it.

Anyway.... You guys are cool, I have been on the guilty side the whole time. RIP to all the babies that crossed paths with this monster and didn't make it out alive. For those parents to be still standing and fighting is the epitome of strength 😔 ❤

Actual footage of Forgetby in her cell when she robbed some post-it’s but nobody saw her take them and there was no CCTV so it didn’t happen.
