Thanks for the welcome Tofino. Nice to be here with my kind of people.
Im just getting started, Photo shop firing up
This had always been such a hard part of the case to reconcile in my brain. She took so many of the photos of these babies. The last photos. Dressed them when they had passed She took the place of giving “care” and bathing them when she was actually a monster. Took them away. It’s an unimaginable level of cruelty to those families. It’s grotesque. The stuff of horror films. She wants to make herself special to them- I wonder if anyone’s thinking of you at all. I did the memory box. I persuaded the parents to stay- about baby Cs parents who she actually tried to get to hand over their baby for the morgue whilst he was still breathing! The thought of Lucy bathing baby E after he had passed away, I can’t put into words. It’s sickening, disturbing and I can’t imagine how the parents feel having that memory stuck in their heads. There isn’t a word strong enough. It’s horrifying.
I don’t know how that got missed in previous reporting.
Can you remember the photo of the shift pattern for baby E and F? Did it sound like she took the photo as a memory? It came across that way in reporting.
I was actually thinking, as a solo parent to a 5 year old, it would be quite nice not to ever have to cook a meal again. Maybe I’ll stop paying my tv licence. To be fair, she’ll never have to worry about cooking again either. Prison is too good for the likes of her![]()
We’ll chat shit on here like we do on non court days hahaha xxWhat are we actually going to do while the jury are out?I've got anxiety just thinking about it. And does anyone know if Letby will have to come to court each day and wait somewhere in a cell, potentially over and over for days or weeks, or will they call her from jail when the verdict is in and we'll have a couple of hours' warning while they transport her to court?
Edited for clarity.
Congratulations! Have you got your starter kit?Just secured a children’s nursing job! So pleased but definitely won’t be like letby!
It took me a VERY long time to realise that Cockington was a real place, and not the Tattle-devised version of whatever it was actually called.Cockington. What is it actually like. It’s so perfectly named.
It's these actions that make her a monster. She was revelling in it, bathing in the grief that she's caused. It's sick. This had always been such a hard part of the case to reconcile in my brain. I just cannot wait till she is known for the unspeakable evil she is.
oh goodness. They are still on track to start deliberations on Monday! Next week is going to feel quite surreal whatever happens.4:00pm
The trial judge confirms the jury will not be starting deliberations on Thursday, as he will not have completed his summing up until Monday.
He says that will happen 'earlier rather than later' on Monday, July 10.
He says the court will resume 10.30am-4pm tomorrow
The chances of a very poorly baby being murdered when there is a murderer on the unit is the same as those babies that are doing much better.I'm not in the NG camp but a lot of things haven’t been explained thoroughly for me to make a firm decision.
Take Child C, I read this today…..

So baby C had a twisted colon and acute pneumonia. Whilst they were not determined to be a cause of death, that baby was very poorly. What are the chances of someone deciding to murder a baby who was so poorly?
we keep getting told that these babies weren’t expected to die and were 'stable', yet here is evidence of illness that could have easily caused his/her death.
LL is not on trial for all the baby’s murders that died, I think there’s 5 others, so what happened to them?
I stepped away from this thread for months because it was so upsetting but have been following, and am now looking again but there are still lots of questions.
LL continually going in that room after Child C died is very concerning and by the time we get to Child L she’s returning from holiday and saying she’ll no doubt be back 'with a bang' and child L and M suddenly die on her consecutive shifts. That’s far too coincidental.
I still have questions BUT I think my problem is that I don’t want to believe she did murder them because it’s too terrible to think about AND a relative of mine employed by the NHS has been through a terrible experience with them where they broke their own policy procedures and lied and lied to cover their tracks, so I also don’t trust them.
I’m all over the place!
(Also, thank you to everyone for updating these threads and the WIKI as they are a brilliant source of info. I had to C&P this over as the previous thread closed).
I thought you were all coming to mine? I’ve started my nibbles listWhat are we actually going to do while the jury are out?I've got anxiety just thinking about it. I went to court today and the picture on the screen was better than it's been before when I've been and I could see her quite well. I was looking at her when it had all finished for the day when everything was relaxed and I said to my friend "she doesn't look look one bit bothered". She was flanked by about three prison officers and it felt like they were all friendly with each other. At lunchtime for the first time I saw her dad and her friend, I think her mum was behind the friend so I didn't see her. They were leaving the courtroom when we were leaving the courtroom next door. The judge indicated he thinks he'll finish his summing up on Monday by lunchtime. BM walked past us too outside the courtroom.Well yes there is that! I wanted to see her reaction, like there’s nothing. I mean I’m just overrrr emotional since I had my kids but there’s nothing from her. Like I wanted her to fight for freedom at least, but she didn’t. I can’t understand why she took the Stand in all honesty it did her no favours at alll
