We went to court today, was very surreal after following the case for so long actually seeing & hearing everyone you’ve read about.

Was awful hearing the actual babies names.

The breaks were very much needed as there was so much information to take in & look at all the notes before the questions which were a mixture of hand written & computer notes.

The dance with you comment was a gosh moment as he had wrapped her round his little finger into admitting she was at the cot side.

Lucys parents look absolutely broken as some of the other people coming out of the court maybe the parents but didn’t know (we were next door but sat outside court on the break)

If anyone gets the chance I’d say go as it’s completely different from the live reporting & reports. And met a lovely lady who had made the trip up from Brighton! If you see this I hope you get back ok!

We go in and check on them. We offer to do keepsakes so hand and foot prints, lock of hair etc. They can bath baby and we will help but only if they want us to. Everything is parents choice, we offer all of these things and they can accept or decline. Once they're ready for baby to go then we discuss the practicalities such as registering the death, who will call them etc.
We try and keep interruptions to a minimum and nobody makes idle chit chat like lucifer fucking letby because it's just not appropriate. You keep chatter to the bare minimum and let the parents lead you on how much interaction they want. Most don't want you there and just want you to come when they buzz for you.
As someone who has been on the other side of this, saying goodbye to a baby, can I just say thank you. Your kindness and compassion shown in those moments will have stayed with those families forever ❤

Letby accepts, from looking at the neonatal schedule, she would have been in room 2 when the emergency twins were admitted to room 1.

NJ: "There would have been a lot of distractions...wouldn't there?"

LL: "I don't know what you're implying."

Cmon now, you do know what he’s implying. You’re on trial for it you lemon.

Just a little post to make sure everyone is OK. If I've missed anyone who is having a shit time it's because I'm menopausal and forgetful, not ignorant 🙂

@Haveyouanywool catch up love, you're a day behind.
@docmum How are you coping? My babies are home now so I feel complete 🙂
@OldBlondie I know you dont read notifications but i hope you're OK, your fantastic observations are missed
@gimmethattea Hope your week has improved
@mRsKbRoOkS how's your wrist?
@Mega Pint hope you're recoving from the flap reduction surgery.

Hope all out Mums with babies are OK and I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

I'm spending the evening with Elton 😍😍😍

And yes, I know this post is a bit cringe but we need to look after each other ❤

Decided to pop to court, it’s been adjourned as soon as I got there so maybe I’m the problem!.Not on tomorrow either, and not sitting Monday Tuesday next week.

Judge gave the reason in court for the jurors absence and it’s serious, definitely a good reason to adjourn (not sure if I can say why). He said all the jurors are very committed for various reasons so not someone ducking out like we’d thought.

Honestly was an interesting trip despite the brevity of it, got to see BM in the corridor (he’s dishier than you’d expect I hate to say!) and was interesting to see. LL’s got a bit of a moon face now compared to her pictures, her hair is brown. Didn’t get the chance to hear her speak though.

So according to LL no one was particularly familiar with stomas, except Child J's nurse Nicola Dennison was.

Asked to explain a text message she had sent to a colleague Letby tells the court: "Sometimes I felt nurses would take on roles which I didn't think they were trained enough in".

The next message adds: "It's shocking really that they are willing to take the responsibility for things that they have no training or experience etc on. Don't think they appreciate the potential difficulties X"

Letby agrees she believed it was "potentially dangerous".

Mr Johnson says the impression of the court was that band 4 nurses were not qualified in stoma care, and the hospital was 'cutting conrers' by assigning such nurses to those tasks. Letby agrees.

The court is shown a document about the duties for special care babies [such as Child J], which includes stoma care.

LL: "You need to appreciate the context that the unit was not familiar with stomas."

NJ: "This nurse was familiar with stomas, wasn't she?"

LL: "In her opinion, yes."

Such a snidy fucking cow.

Wow, missed this additional detail of why she didn't attack child J the following night. I love that the idiot actually asked this question herself and inadvertently PROVED NJ's theory that she only strikes when the parents are away.

He must be delighted she fell for it!!
Feels big! Clever of BNE to start there. He’s damn good at what he does!
He’s SO clever. And the team behind him who have put all this evidence together and realising the relevance of some of these things that could so easily be missed. I have so much respect for them.

Baby J to me proves she loved being the centre of attention and drama. She wasn't part of the emergency efforts with Dr Gibbs in room 1 so attacked baby J so that all the emergency efforts would be shifted to room 2 where she was. Even she agrees there was no reason for baby J to suddenly collapse! There was nothing that preceded it - she hasn't recorded any warning signs or notes in the half hour before the collapse but was the only one in the room.

Ghoul of a woman, attention seeking psychopath.

Letby is now being asked about Child K's parents.
The prosecution asks her: "Did you ever meet them?"
"I can't recall," Letby says.
But on 20 April 2018, Facebook data shows she searched for Child K's parents.
"Do you have a very good memory for names?" prosecution barrister Mr Johnson asks.
"Yes," says Letby.
The prosecution then put it to Letby: "You remembered her because you tried to kill her [Child K]."
"No," says Letby.
Mr Johnson asks why Letby told her defence lawyer "you still think of patients that you cared for" - when she hadn't directly cared for Child K.
"I think that is taking it out of context," Letby says,
She says it doesn't have to be a baby she directly looked after to remember them, and added she had played a part in her care.
She also said she had provided Child K with a morphine infusion at one point.
"A single morphine infusion was enough to fix her in your brain?" Mr Johnson asks.

He then asks Letby why she, therefore, cannot remember "standing over her" as Child K desaturated.
Letby says she cannot answer

I've been waiting for him to raise the point in these last 3 sentences for ages now.

Just been sat in the garden with a glass of vino all snuggly and warm in my oodie, cuddled up with my son and watching my husband and daughter mess about with the dogs. The birds were singing and I could smell freshly cut grass, honeysuckle and my sons freshly washed hair.

Absolutely nothing was miraculous or out of the ordinary but I just felt so peaceful and grateful.

That rotten bitch will never have any of these simple life pleasures and I'm glad. She doesn't deserve any of them.

I hope her cell is cockroach infested and her mattress smells of piss 😁😁

Taking the stand is the best thing she has ever done for these babies. This is her downfall and is showing her true colours.

if in the insulin cases it could only be Lucy or the other nurse.
the other nurse was not present for the other deaths.
BUT what if the other nurse did do the insulin murders, the rest of the deaths are coincidental and no foul play and actually Letby is innocent of all.

far fetched? this is the first time for me another person could have done something lucy is accused of. If i was on the jury this would occupy my thoughts and i think i'd settle on guilty. I feel a Guilty verdict coming unless it goes to mistrial.
I don’t think it’s possible that there’s only two possible suspects and the one who wrote “I killed them on purpose” isn’t the attacker

It’s Keir Starmer. He called the judge and is forcing Ben Myers to submit new evidence because Ben is in on the conspiracy of framing Lucy which is why he’s been ignoring any information about the virus that is proven to only be transmitted via Lucy.

You’re on trial for multiple murder 🤪 don’t want to name names. Don’t want to provide the court with actual evidence to my claim. Ffs. Liar.
