I love bull breeds (
It really would be carnage, that's why I don't think she's as qualified as she makes out to be, like spouting her own medical jargon and diagnoses to NN and others.
Aaaaw bless him, they're so loyal. Mine hates men (suits me just fine). I have dyed hair with routes as dark as my soul . I hate Bully's, they're b*****ds
I had 2 staffy crosses before I got my surprise gsd for my birthday and it's so different in that now there is a coating of floofiness on every thing haha

I only had my diary for like a week I couldn’t be arsed

The one entry in it was from year 6, I’d been called the n word by a kid in my class and all I’d wrote in it was “***** is a bleeping large duck

Left it after that 😩
Lol that sounds like an entry in the Mean Girls Burn Book 🤣

I expected more from the police interviews but like already mentioned so much has been redacted and we have not been given any idea of her demeanor or presentation throughout. It just feels like over diluted squash at the moment. Hopefully the rest of the week won't be so bland and we can get down to the nitty gritty.

Has anyone here been accused of anything they haven't done? Obviously not anything to this scale but at high school as I was the prankster I got accused of setting the fire alarm off. All these years later I can remember the feeling of pure frustration, irritation and unjust. It was a horrible feeling.

I cannot imagine being arrested for multiple baby murders and each time sitting there and casually answering questions. I'd be bleeping raging. Of course we're not going to get that from Lucifer but I'd just like to see a hint of rage from her. Rage for the unnecessary death of these babies. Rage for her supposed innocence. Doodles screaming her innocence, grief for the babies. Just something, some evidence of normal human reactions that are for someone else other than herself.

Sorry I keep banging on about being a palliative nurse. The card is significant.
In all my years working on palliative and I have nursed some patients for months and grown close to their families I have never sent a condolence card. It's just not appropriate.
I have cried with families and gone through the process with them of what happens after which is so emotional and hard but wouldn't dream of writing a card.
I think she must have played Dr Noname well for him to see her as professional as in every way she strikes me as a newly qualified nurse who is more there for the socials

I'm a lurker on this thread, trying to keep upto date with it!
But I was accused of stealing from the school canteen which was so far away from who I was as a teenager. I remember feeling physically sick about it, being interviewed by the teacher and not knowing how to deal with it. Not at all on her scale but I've no idea how you could be so calm about it if you didn't do it. Even typing that has made me feel weird about it again!

Didn’t see you had posted this too 🙈🤦🏼‍♀️ not sure if it’s the exact same article but seems to confirm she had become band 6 by the time of A. Also think what others have suggested as the ‘trigger’ for LL could very well have been what happened at the women’s hospital. I think she wanted the attention, but she also enjoyed it and got a really sick pleasure out of what she did. Def not wired right. Also as I was looking through defence opening for the info I read several times Bowel Movement saying that his medical experts dispute the prosecution’s (although the pros experts are independent to the court) and that the pros medical experts are making the evidence fit the theory, so I guess that’s why he went so hard at the lovely fella Dr Evans, as he’s basically trying to say he stitched her up 😱
I took it that it was the nurse speaking that was band 6, not Letby?

Thinking aloud re the police interviews - the defence will have raised specific things that are in dispute between prosecution and defence, given how long the police interviews are likely to be, and how much time it would take, I wonder if they are only showing specific points relating to those issues in dispute raised in the defence case statement, which means without being in court and having the transcript of the interview etc, it just sounds bitty and not as thorough as perhaps some were expecting. The jury should hopefully be getting a slightly fuller picture

She’s a very young woman being accused of the most heinous crimes. I’d say she’s remarkably calm, at times trying to show she knows more than them. I think it’s strange that some of her most crazy notes were written at work when on admin, or in her handbag (maybe made at work too and taken home?) and yet the “I’m evil I did this” note is very different and much more measured in appearance and style. BM is saying she wrote it once she knew the accusations being made.. which means she had to have looked at it and placed it back in her 2016. Just doesn’t seem to add up to me.

So today we heard police interviews for baby I through to baby P, but surprised they wouldn’t finish on baby Q (maybe they did and just not reported). So even including Q that’s 9 babies today.

Court was adjourned around 4.30pm so with a 10.30 start, one hour lunch and two 20 minute breaks, that’s 4hrs20 mins court time?

it works out at about half an hour per baby. And you’ve got two people reading out a transcript. I think that would actually be quite a lot to hear. But we are only getting a couple of lines per baby in the reporting!

So I think the transcripts probably do have a lot of detail but frustratingly we are not hearing it!!

This is more like what I was hoping for with the reporting - a lot more back and forth in the interviews.

I noticed she is saying the sympathy card was someone else’s idea.

agree in principle, I was sh*tting myself standing behind a police officer in a petrol station queue a few weeks ago, but I guess unless you’re in the position of being wrongly accused then you’d never know for sure how you’d feel. I like crime/thriller fiction and I tend to feel uneasy if it’s written from the perspective of wrongly accused as well. Anyway, I digress as ever.

What I wanted to say to this was that I’d be screaming my innocence by baby B - in real time not by the interviews - if it was me. Those that feel there is a set up or a poorly managed unit need to question why Lucy hadn’t flagged that babies were sick each time Dr or Nurse X had been around, why she didn’t see any pattern as to how things were difficult when she had taken over from/worked with someone specific. Just like her colleagues did to her. If she hadn’t spoken up at the time for whatever reason, she should have been able to offer more of an explanation in the police interviews as these were significant enough events for her to document them in her diary. I’m not saying she should sling mud, but a competent professional should be able to problem solve to an extent and know why such behaviours were being allowed to happen, which would actually help to vindicate her if true.
I don’t read much in to the lack of detail from the police interviews as well. They weren’t just twiddling their thumbs in there. I’m happy to hear protected reporting until the verdict if it means it will protect the trial and the correct outcome for those darling babies.

Even if the card was suggested by someone else, it still doesn't explain why she took a photo of the message. I have never done that with a sympathy card, or any card, in my life. Her 'innocent' explanation as to why is still horrendously narcissistic.

I haven’t taken photos of cards but I have certainly googled what to write in cards (albeit not sympathy cards) because I can never think of good things to write. If she had said she wanted to remember the words because she often had to write such cards and wanted to reuse the words, I might believe that.

It does seem like the staff were quite attached to baby L if some of them were going to the funeral. Personally I think in that context it’s not that weird. I’m a paediatric nurse - I sent flowers to a family it a patient that passed away when some of my colleagues were going to the funeral because I couldn’t attend.

I think she seems so flat in her interviews (from what we’re hearing) I would be screaming my innocence and be sooo frustrated not just “it wasn’t me”. Do you think she’s been advised to stay calm and not say much? Even if I’d been advised to I think I would lose my cool and get really mad about being falsely accused if so
