This is what I meant earlier. That’s what my old friend did. Anything to be centre of attention receiving sympathy and praise. The notes of LL remind me of her too, all the “I’m not good enough” bullshit was the same tactic my friend used to pull, just to welcome “aw no you’re amazing you’re so brave” etc
I bet Letby is the type to check herself in on Facebook at the hospital and when someone asks if she’s ok she says ‘PM me babe’

This is a really interesting POV. Like an obsession with dying/dead babies. She needs to have babies dying around her to get her fix.

Who knows why though. Holding a baby who had died was the single worst thing I’ve ever done in my whole life. It’s horrific. Even now when I close my eyes I can picture him, feel his body in my arms. It’s awful. I don’t know how anyone can enjoy that.

She’s vile. I hate her.
I can 100% resonate with your post as holding our sleeping son when he was born then having to leave the hospital is the hardest thing I've ever had to do 😢

And probs reading too much into it but she’s been so non commital and vague about all her responses but oddly specific about this one and shared details of what she meant. Almost like it was really fresh in her mind and still annoyed her.

The way she’s said, “it could have helped me” made me wonder if she thinks if she could have been in nursery 1 she wouldn’t have had to attack A and never gone down this path of attacking babies to soothe herself. Almost like she blames the other staff for not letting her manage her compulsion like she wanted.

Because also she says that at Liverpool they gave her another dying baby that helped her get over one dying baby. So what happens to her in a place like CoCH where there are hardly any dying babies - how does she cope then??? Well I guess we know how….

‘She agreed with detectives that she was "frustrated" at not being asked to work in nursery one that evening’

‘I killed them on purpose because I wasn’t good enough to care for them’

Potentially AKA she wasn’t allowed to do what she wanted so she wen’t to cause a ‘drama’

I think back to leaving the hospital after losing my daughter and I immediately feel like I cannot breathe. The few memories I have with my first born almost feel more like a nightmare at times because I go back to how I felt in that moment 😓 sending you lots of love (and you @raspberryjuice) 💛

Sorry I keep banging on about being a palliative nurse. The card is significant.
In all my years working on palliative and I have nursed some patients for months and grown close to their families I have never sent a condolence card. It's just not appropriate.
I have cried with families and gone through the process with them of what happens after which is so emotional and hard but wouldn't dream of writing a card.
I think she must have played Dr Noname well for him to see her as professional as in every way she strikes me as a newly qualified nurse who is more there for the socials

I bet the poor handwriting analyst who had to decipher this lot needed a week off after getting through it.

Why on earth did she keep all these and the bigger question....if anything what the hell did she throw away/discard?

Mad as a box of frogs I tell thee.

Nice to see a bit of anger though (BASTARDS), I mean if I'd have worked my arse off to become a Nurse, worked so many shifts, even taking the shredding bag home to help admin, supported parents after so many inexplicable deaths, fallen madly in love with a Dr with a penchant for choccywocky, bought a house, a few suction dildos (all beige and medium sized), then been taken off Nursing duties, arrested for many counts of attempted murder and murder then dumped by Dr Choccywocky I'd BE ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY SHITTING FURIOUS.

If I was innocent. 😉😉

Come on Letby show us how angry you are we're sick of the poor me, poor little me, little letby wawaawaaaaa.

Jesus. Sorry for that outburst. I don't know what came over me lol

But they say things like “there’s no evidence” 🤪 as if the jury have been twiddling their thumbs for months on end.
Or they say it’s circumstantial as if leading pathologists and radiographers saying there is air there that can only have been administered is not as close as this gets to say a stabbing victim having a knife wound! The method is air, here is the air, here is the opportunity when the suspect has access, here is data to show she was there, here are her own words saying she was there, here is countless witness statements to show it presented exactly how air administered would present, here is a heap of evidence to say it can’t be explained as a natural event, here is a load of fucking creepy stuff she did…here are two poisonings that aren’t disputed!! A bloody confession 😅

What exactly is missing? A photo or video of her doing it? But she’d look like she was giving care for most of the allegations. Someone walking in and she is physically assaulting the baby? Well no that didn’t happen and she would have been stopped there and then but then had that happened.. you’d believe every story of babies full of air and milk and fluid and injuries and poison wouldn’t you! There even are incidents that come as close as possible to catching her in the act and it’s still not enough. Tubes pulled out, alarms not going, babies covered in blood, bleeding in strange and unaccounted for ways.

What more can there possibly be for this crime, for what is alleged? It is an absolute mountain of evidence!
There is no doubt in my mind that she is guilty. None that is in any ways responsible.

Just because you can fabricate a scenario/excuse doesn't mean it carries any weight. I have yet to hear any credible explanation offered for any of her batshit behaviour or her sheer insurmountable "bad luck".

I took a good break from this thread but caught up on all the crazy info from yesterday! She’s certainly creeptastic isn’t she...

Our baby's doing good! She's still in special care but is miles better than what she was, will still be another few weeks before she's home but we are so happy with her progress ❤

Something I do a lot when on the phone doodling is signing my own name/writing my own name/practicing signing my name with my boyfriends surname for when we’re married etc and maybe the Lucy U… is her signing her name as it would be if she married No Name?
I do this too, the minute I’m bored during a uni lecture, I start cracking out the bubble writing for my own name 🤣.
This bad boy is another one of my specialities 👇

Genuinely worried that she'll get a NG verdict because of the defence being able to get in a scrap of doubt in there, with other experts disagreeing, or BM's random attempts at medical knowledge swaying the jury.
I worry about who may be on the jury. And what they understand about reasonable doubt. You don’t have to have 100% proof. You can have some doubt. But it needs to be a reasonable doubt to find her NG. And beyond reasonable to find her guilty.

I really liked what pathologist Dr Andreas Marnerides said to Ben Myers the other week. I’ll copy below. I’ve posted it before but if you consider his analogy he’s using probability and possibility (just because somethings possible doesn’t mean it’s probable). It’s a similar thing with doubt - just because it’s possible doesn’t mean it’s reasonable.

Mr Myers said: “So you don’t accept the proposition that forceful CPR could cause this injury in general terms, do you agree it cannot be categorically excluded as a possibility?”

Dr Marnerides replied: “We are not discussing possibilities here, we are discussing probabilities.

“When you refer to possibilities, I am thinking for example of somebody walking in the middle of the Sahara desert found dead with a pot and head trauma.

“It is possible the pot fell from the air from a helicopter. The question is ‘is it probable?’ and I don’t think we can say it is probable.”

I always remember the discussions during star hobsons trial. Because there were two people in the house (Frankie and Brockhill) and both denied assaulting Star, people were worried Brockhill would be found NG because there was no direct evidence of who was where in the house, just their own testimonies. In theory it’s possible Frankie could have done it. But when you weighed up all the other evidence before and after the event, it became unreasonable to think it was anyone but Brockhill.

She cannot hide the narcissism. It seeps through so often!
My thoughts exactly.

I mean in a great big beautiful world full of blue skies, trees, birds, flowers, gingers, butterflies, lambs and so many other things why take a photo of a card you sent to the devastated family of a baby that died in your care.

And I'm not trying to offend any weirdos here (those that take photos of bereavement cards they write) but what a morbid and indulgent thing to do. Clearly a momento of her 'work', another little souvenir.

Then the audacity of her to say that she took it as a reminder of how fucking kind and wonderful she is.

Most of us do, say and write kind things regularly, it doesn't need to be catalogued, it just needs to be.

On the next thread we need a poll to determine how many of us are ginger. At this point it's gingers anonymous in this thread.

I'm not one of you (praise be to the lord) but I do have 3 ginger pubes so I do sympathise and understand your plight. I also have about 7 grey pubes mixed amongst my natural colour and a big black hair that appears on my chin every Wednesday.

I'm like the United Colours of Benetton.

And now I've overshared and painted such a vivid and alarming picture within your brain I shall bid you all goodnight.

Have a great weekend honeys ❤

On the fb group, under the pictures of her house someone's put 'looks like a comfortable bed' and I don't know why but I'm fucking buckled 😂😂😂 maybe it's cos my baby decided not to sleep last night and I'm a bit delirious but that's the funniest thing I've ever read.

ETA.. I looked at his fb and he's friends with lots of women using a dummy or wearing a nappy in their profile pic, anyone want to tell LL that a fb nonce wants her bed? 🤢💀

I think she may take the stand. I think the defence may play on the fact the evidence is very much that an expert witness suggests things could have happened and that Lucy was there at the time, but the jury have to be convinced that the two are linked.
I've heard people say they're worried about the jury having to take a leap of faith because there's no evidence of a connection and that the evidence is all circumstantial. I personally don't think that's the case at all. In fact, if you look at it the other way, it would take a much, much bigger leap of faith to say it wasn't LL who killed those babies. There's evidence she was the nurse assigned/involved in the care of each and every one of those babies; she's was at the cot of many just before or at exactly the time that they deteriorated suddenly and collapsed; she was the last person to administer a feed/mediation to some of them just before they collapsed; multiple experts (not just one) have ruled out a (natural) medical explanation for why the babies would've collapsed, and many more (including some very experienced experts) have said there was evidence of air embolism, splinted diaphragm, intentional and severe liver damage; there's laboratory analysis conclusively pointing to deliberate synthetic insulin poisoning; a confession note saying "I killed them on purpose"; multiple witnesses saying she made gauche comments like "he's not leaving here alive, is he?" and other comments and inappropriate behaviour to grieving parents. One would have to in effect try to deny and/or explain all of this evidence/testimony away to show that it's just bad luck/conspiracy against Lucy/medical experts are wrong, etc. BM would have a mountain to climb, and even then, I can't see him pulling it off. The jury will have enough sense to see that if all the evidence (and there's a lot of it) points towards her, then it must be her because that's the simplest, most plausible, common-sensical and rational explanation.

Her bedroom doesn’t exactly look like like a love shack for her and Drnoname, I really don’t think it went past texting!
it looks like more a teenager room stuff lying about with teddies and lights
I honestly don't think Letby has had sex with an actual human man. Ever.
