Sorry to quote you individually, as I realise lots of people have said this - but it's interesting, does it make her more evil that she (allegedly) killed babies? Someone further up said something about 'evil' being religious and I wonder if there's undertones of religion because it's babies and they're 'whole/pure/innocent'? As surely murdering anyone else is evil?
Oh yes, murdering anyone is evil. Of course it is.

Murdering 2/3 triplets is beyond fucking evil.

Murdering and attempting to murder so many innocent newborns? Evil just doesn't cover it.

I think their inability to fight back, to shout, scream, to talk, to run, to hide makes it even more evil does it not? Her size compared to theirs and the fact she was employed to look after and care for them. Yeah, there's evil but this twat is off the fucking scale.

See I thought Dr Arthur Owens/Owens Arthurs was quite dishy but I didn’t know if it was right to say so 🤭 can we mix his friendly good looks with Dr M’s BDE 🤣
Hi darling,

I'm saying this in the nicest possible way. As you can probably tell I am down with the kids, Im up fleek bro innit, I'm a real G. So what I'm about to say is coming from a good place.

Nobody says dishy anymore. Its just not the done thing.

Stop embarrassing yourself.

The term is 'well fit' and if you're feeling particularly trendy you can add an 'innit'.

Kind Regards

Della C the G 🤣🤣

I honestly think some of the hospital management should face consequences for their lack of concern and inability to listen to qualified professionals with repeated concerns! Looks like their interests were more about numbers than anything else!
I couldn't agree more. Of all the awful things we've heard over the last 6 months it has been this side of it that has hit me hardest. I could barely string a sentence together after the stuff came about about Karen Rees. They may not have committed the acts but they played their part. The worst thing for me is they've since jumped ship and fucked off elsewhere or retired on a fat pension. It's abhorrent.

Despite their repeated requests for action, for a period of 11 months senior managers had been 'extremely resistant to involving police'.

He added: 'We had to keep insisting the police be involved.'

The paediatrician told Mr Myers: 'I'm not sure at what point we (as consultants) should have gone to the police. It's our duty to ensure the safety of babies and that's what we've done.”

wow just wow! Management also wanted to bring her back after month! I suspect because they wanted to clean up the grievance She put in!!! Management should be fucking ashamed of them selves I’m beyond angry thank god for those Doctors! I honestly don’t have to the words to describe how angry I am at the management but they should all fucking hang their heads 😡😡😡

Guess for me I’ve no doubts it was LL, and even if you concede yes there were some mistakes made and the unit wasn’t perfect (I don’t think you’d find one that is tbh tho), the babies still did NOT respond the way they should have even if extra doses or whatever were given. None of these babies responded to resus how they should if it was simply an extra dose of adrenaline. What @Haveyouanywool said in a post earlier about this was spot on, also I’m sure if there was a chance the adrenaline or breathing support would have affected the outcome @docmum who knows her shizz would have pointed out/agreed with. Medically these babies did not respond how they should have done. No one is saying the unit did not make mistakes, but they cannot solely be the cause of these unexpected/unusual collapses. IMO (and a few others) the failings on the unit only helped LL fly under the radar for as long as she did. Both things are possible, not one or the other. I also really look forward to scrutinising the defence’s theories and witnesses to the same degree as the prosecutions have been subjected to. And just saw so far there has been 124 witnesses for the prosecution with more still to come, that’s wow really. Wonder how many the defence will call, guarantee it’ll be no where near as many as that. 124 gives a scale of how just how big this whole investigation has been 😮

Was speaking about the case to someone tonight. Their response was, "They can create all the doubt they want, she's written a fucking confession note hasn't she?"

I forget how clear the note actually is at the end. "I killed them on purpose because I'm not good enough to care for them and I am a horrible evil person I don't deserve Mum + Dad + Tom + Matt world is better off without me I AM EVIL I DID THIS"

View attachment 2051904The message about Lucy and the Hens night where everyone was uncomfortable. It was on reddit a few days ago.
This just radiates mean girl energy from the writer…
Firstly being awkward around men doesn’t make you a lesbian… if anything being a lesbian makes you more comfortable around men as you don’t have to deal with their shit and have no stakes riding on them liking you. It’s the kind of thing 15 year olds say when they have no clue.
Secondly….being bitchy because she bought a dildo at a sex party is stupid haha these nurses all sound like dweebs🤪

Regardless, I get the vibe that they all thought she was off but didn’t wanna say anything. Putting it into context like if you hate someone at work you have to suss out who you mention it too in case they are close to the person in question. Imagine you thought the weirdo at work was killing babies, it would feel crazy to think that let alone mention it to colleagues.

It was me that initially said LL was the devil/ evil. And I stand by that. Not in a particularly religious way, but in the physical and moral sense. She's wicked. To kill innocent, (beyond) tiny babies? Who have only been alive for hours/ days? Who can't even protect themselves or speak up? What else is she other than evil?!! It goes against everything.
I also truly believe that people like Bundy, Bittaker and Norris, BTK, Hindley and Brady etc are evil. Of course they are. To take anyone's life is evil and take any sort of pleasure in it.No one has that right. Many people can have mental illness and not do abhorent things like this, so she isn't 'ill'.
But most of these babies were probably no bigger than a hand, with no way of alarming anyone what was happening..... And then their poor parents who become victims too. 😔 those poor mums. How is she not evil?
And I'm sure those mums wouldn't have any sympathy for her, she's not ill. To think killing a baby is the only way you can 'flirt' with a doctor and get his attention??! Whatver! She's an absolute evil walking around who only cares about herself.
The most disgusting human being iv ever read about
Really interested in this idea of evil discussed in thread. I think evil is a word we use to describe awful and unimaginable acts of cruelty normal People can’t understand. Setting aside religion we often talk about people who commit acts like this as ‘beasts/monsters/evil’. I think it’s a coping mechanism for normal people. It’s easier for us to think of these people as evil rather than just different kinds of humans.

I am not defending these people or LL, the opposite really: their brains are not the same as ours, she is ill but EVERYONE has a choice. She chose to go into healthcare, she chose to be with the sick babies, and to hurt them. That’s inexcusable and I can’t even think about what she deserves.

BUT generalising and thinking about psychopaths/narcissists, they look at humans as objects rather than living humans. It’s why they are able to do terrible things, it doesn’t affect them like a normal person. For example I stepped on my dogs paw recently and I felt sick with guilt. Psychopaths can easily torture or kill animals and not care at all.
When LL hurt the babies, she’s maybe thinking ‘this would be a good way to see Dr noname today’ because in her fked up mind the baby doesn’t matter, it’s like a mug of tea or a television, just a thing. She is thinking ‘he will come down and see me, and bonus I’ll get lots of attention and cause drama’, not thinking of the pain and suffering she’s going to cause as bad, because she actually likes it/doesn’t feel it.

It makes me feel dirty and horrible thinking like her but studying psychology has made me interested. Also I’ve been noticing that in her head she’s the Victim. Writing in her note ‘why me, im not good enough, I don’t deserve family’? And her being selfish in texts about baby O&P: ‘sad face, I want to be in Ibiza, I made a fool of myself’ it would make you sick even if she didn’t kill them, the way she doesn’t care about the baby or parent’s pain. Bizarre mindset but fits with her being a covert narcissist/psychopath/healthcare serial murderer.

Years ago I witnessed the rash that I'm sure they are all talking about. It happened pretty much immediately after a child got an air enema (they are used for intussuception and its a very large/forceful administering of air in to the intestines to try and fix it ). It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen but it was pretty much exactly as they have all described, minus the blue/pale skin part (I'm assuming because the babies were very compromised). Full body blotches everywhere.

At the time we panicked and stopped the antibiotic infusion that was running (vancomycin) but it didn't make sense because it looked nothing like 'red man syndrome', and the rash resolved within a few minutes. I did a lot of googling at the time but couldn't find anything about it! That's what seals it for me

I always thought he was married but then the whole “use my car” thing made me rethink that coz surely his wife would have questioned where the car was?
I also wondered about the inside info thing - as in, it started that he did like her but then he heard the whispers & tried to find out more to either confirm the rumours or find something to disprove them maybe. Who knows! But either way, I can imagine he is extremely mortified
If I recall correctly I think she was going to drive the car home at the end of her shift but start of his? And he was going to collect next day at the end of his shift. So I don’t think a partner would notice that.

R is Dr Noname.

Not quite sure he realised what he was offering…
Wonder if they both kept their promises!!

I can’t imagine how much this would have hurt the parents hearing this. It’s really stuck with me. It’s not the babies 😢

R: No more doubt - it's not you, it's the babies.

I feel so sorry for her parents there. Her mum looks worried to death and completely crushed. I feel no pity for LL but her poor parents must be in shock hearing all the evidence and maybe having doubts about her innocence. I know most parents would want to believe their child, but after hearing it all, you wonder what going through their minds
Yeah I agree. I actually can’t blame them if they still support her at the moment and believe she’s innocent and being wrongly blamed esp as I guess Lucy will have spun them all sorts of stories.

I think I would go into some sort of state of shock and don’t think I could absorb such complex evidence (it’s hard anyway!). If anyone needs to at least wait for defence to finish before making their own decision then it has to be them.

Unconditional love also means it doesn’t matter what someone does, you are always going to love them and it is always going to hurt even if you accept they are guilty of something and choose not to have anymore to do with them. I’m not putting them in the same box as the babies parents at all but they have certainly lost their daughter. I don’t know how I would cope if it was my child that did what Lucy did tbh.

Bare with me…So this morning I was browsing Instagram as you do and there was a woman who gave birth to (non-identical) triplets and she lasted to 35w and they were 4,5, and 5 lbs. Each had their own placenta. So similar weights to O and P two weeks further along. It just reiterates how utterly strong O and P will have been, who reached over 4 lbs at 33weeks - via a one-placenta pregnancy!! That placenta got three babies over the 4 lb mark, seven weeks early. The odds were in their favour fgs.
Anyway, I just thought I’d add that. It stopped me in my tracks.

Added to that of course, 33weekers have a 99% chance of survival. Or ducking 0% when Lucy Letby is orbiting.
---
All this time these poor nurses and doctors are having to come to court for, time away from their patients travelling to Manchester and back, hours in court. Waiting around and in the box. Multiple times. Police interviews. How’s that looking for your rotas Karen Rees? If you’re reading this, Karen Rees. You and your management wanted Letby back on the ward just a month later, seems to me looking into the repeated doctors’ pleas would be hassle and work for you. Hassle to juggle the unit. Not worked out has it.

*still fuming at that woman*

Thank you for sharing, I'm glad to hear that your son is well now too ❤

The people who work with all these little fighters and miracles are just incredible humans. I couldn't imagine doing their job.
I understand mistakes happen and care may not always be to what is expected, but they surely are trying to make sure these babies survive the odds.
You're welcome.

Absolutely agree theres failings at the hospital as in many. I live a stones throw away from the hospital. Infact i lived less than half a mile from letby. Im a mile away and she was half a mile away from there. Didnt know her. Gladly. But the hospital is my nearest and it has of recent been under pressure. That said. Its a free service by no means perfect. The doctors and nurses work on the neonatal are like they would on a high dependancy heart attack unit. Always moving always busy to keep those little ones alive. Cant imagine the nightmare of this trial for the parents and the carers involved.

The ‘ trust me im a nurse’ did it for me. Nope, totally unprofessional and no one on there would dream of replying like that. If you ask a nurse is your baby going to be ok? They cant answer yes or no. Theyd say “we are doing all we can” then talk about the positives and the care they're receiving. Thats the reply i always got. From different nurses. So they're trained to say it. Never’trust me im a nurse’
That does not sit well with me. Strikes me as an inferiority complex.
