This may seem an insensitive post, and I should say from the off that it absolutely isn’t intended to be that way. I am *very* cautious (for good reasons which I can’t share without potentially outing myself) about giving money to any charity these days.
I know not everyone will share that view and I get that.

that said, at times like this when emotions are running high, people are very willing to give to a charity or cause that’s close to their hearts. It’s noble and it’s kind.
My comment here is nothing other than a gentle reminder that we’re in the middle of a cost of living crisis; many of you are parents with new uniforms to buy, or expensive summer holiday outings etc etc.

At the end of last financial year:
Tommys had unrestricted funds of > £7m
Sands had unrestricted funds of > £4m
Bliss had unrestricted funds of > £1m

Putting this out there as maybe someone may need to have a second thought on whether they want to donate, and it’s safe to say that none of the above are struggling.
Thanks.

Just wanna say thanks again to @Tofino for your amazing wiki and all the work put into it, I was reading an article about the babies they couldn't reach verdicts on and was switching between the article and the wiki as there was no info about the circumstances of each incident in the article, so used the wiki to read about it. Really amazing work and u deserve credit for it 👏

I read (sorry can't remember where now) that in the last 7 years only one baby has died at COCH neonatal unit.

Sorry I’ve not contributed to this thread before and I don’t wish to jump in two footed .

I sincerely hope with all of my heart those managers and individuals who brushed off concerns and tried to cover up these terrible crimes are named and shamed and never work in hospital positions of power ever again .

My local is Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust and we had the absolutely terrible maternity scandal a few years ago , again managers ruling with an atrocious attitude and covering up to save their own skins.

Sending a virtual hug to Tattlers close to this case❤

I just have to say that I saw someone on the other thread state the following and it's really stuck with me;

She passed a note to her barrister after the first few verdicts, and said she wouldn't be returning to the dock for any other verdicts, or for sentencing. If you were innocent, why would you do that??

Sorry again merailing
Regarding the comforter and the childhood
This is a long one I’m sorry

Point 1) the comforter
Narcissists often infantilise themselves as a method of retaining control. She’s sat in the dock on trial for 22 counts of murder/attempt murder, her using a fucking blanket is just a way to make herself look vulnerable, small, sweet and harmless. Narcs control everything, down to the opinion of those around them, by using that blanket or whatever it is, she’s allowing any niggling doubt to cross the minds of the jury, the parents even down to the court ushers and screws that escort her in. My old friend used to suck her thumb to garner the same reaction. It’s nothing but mind games

2) childhood
I don’t think she’s had anything other than an idyllic childhood, she’s probably been a vindictive devious jealous little bastard all her life, but her parents have clearly indulged her and put her on this pedestal. Allowing her to always be a victim, always the one wronged, all eyes on her. Same as my old friend. Great childhood, parents who thought the sun shone out of her arse. They use it to their advantage, they can adapt this persona easily, it will get them everywhere in life, they are never the problem, it’s always someone else’s fault. Then once they’ve convinced the majority that they’re sweet, innocent and kind, they can turn on those who see through them

In one of the pics though her gob looks like it's had some kind of stroke, it's not symmetrical at all
Is it too early to throw abit of poetry into the mix?

Cause I'm dying to say.

Eyebrows look like she's suffered a few strokes
Won't be sniffing around any more married blokes. 🥀

“You need to refer the paediatricians to the GMC”.

Horrendous. Doctors kill themselves during GMC investigations, and that horrific cunt wanted to create a malicious referral for each of the consultants to keep them in line.

Does anyone else feel weird. Like strange. I can’t believe this has happened. I’ve never once wavered on my thoughts of her guilt and I remember being at my mums during covid when it said she’d been nicked again and we all said she’s defo guilty. But I just feel proper shocked that someone’s actually done all this

Really want to watch the thing at 8pm tonight, but just not sure I’m going to be mentally there today, you know? It’s odd, I’ve lurked these threads and posted every so often but had to stop myself becoming fully involved for my own mental health.

I always knew she was guilty. The circumstantial evidence was just overwhelming. But since the verdict my heart has hurt. My stomach is heavy and I can’t concentrate on work. I just can’t shake it. I cannot fathom how anyone could do this. I can’t get my head around what these families went through and what they continue to go through. I feel sick just from reading this thread and the surrounding articles.

I thought I’d got better at separating myself from this kind of thing, but clearly I haven’t!

Just listened to an interview with the parents of Baby L and Baby M, its totally heartbreaking. I just can't comprehend that someone could be so evil. I don't know how these families have managed to survive this, it's astonishing.

And that police arrest video, nice nightie leisure suit Letby you twat. How the hell she developed her "ptsd" from that I do not know, maybe it's because she had to be separated from her bag for life.
She knew exactly why they were there, her reaction to them says it all. Who would just let the police in without asking what on earth was wrong and why they were knocking on the door so early in the morning. I bet she'd been sat there waiting for them every morning since being moved onto admin duties.

I thought I'd be elated when the verdicts came out and I was for a few minutes but now I just feel great sadness for the lives lost and families ruined :(

Also I'd like to say, I'm not a regular on this thread but the way the regulars have behaved has been nothing but wonderful. It is clear to see that those involved in this thread are compassionate, caring individuals. The person who has tried to distract from that by complaining that there are a few laughs here and there needs to read all 62 threads before making any kind of judgement! Thanks to those who care enough to post regularly, spend hours posting information/updates and creating a wiki/going to court we have a resource which is invaluable and they have somehow managed to create a support group for all involved. Well done to you all, you are beautiful people 💜
