Lauren's old house in Perth, while very nice and modern. Was only accessible by a narrow lane way. Your neighbours are really close too.
She’s also mad for some reason that people have money and are able to afford to buy expensive houses???? (Yet Maybe not buying enough loungeface?)

Does she not realise there's a massive rental/housing crisis in Perth?
They have custom built their dream home with all the extras and I can see her selling up in a few years. You can tell she doesn’t like the location. It seems like a lot more work than she’s willing to do and/or Reece is able to do. Plus with his health it’s a good idea to live closer to doctors/hospital.
I wouldn't want to live there. While it's beautiful, it's also bush prone, no main water or gas. Plus all the bugs and insects you would get.
I don't know what she'll do if or when Reece has to give up work.

People are buying more expensive houses because there is a housing crisis, yes you get perhaps more for your house which then affords you to buy another more expensive house. I’ve heard of people getting their parents to be guarantors and also with a lot more young people staying at home longer they are able to save up higher deposits. It’s all relative. Instead of being grateful for what she’s got she’s used it as an opportunity to winge that they should have waited. Early Covid was March 2020 and it’s Feb 2024. A lot has changed.
