There are way too many people in the villa so we needed a dumping but they messed up letting Mibs go. I thought she seemed dumb at first but she was one of the most switched on women in there, she saw right through all the men's tit but was so unbothered at the same time, she never let anything get to her. Exactly the type of woman we need on Love Island, it's mad that the producers let her go but saved Angelista who is bringing nothing to the show and doesn't seem to be enjoying it.

I need to see her more of Mibs and Lorenzo’s friendship

Angelista reminds me of a beautiful lazy inscrutible cat. Curled up in the sun all the time and rarely moving from her spot even when prodded.
Which is nice for her and fascinating in it's own way but not terribly exciting viewing.

Priya is really making me cringe now. She's so unaware of how annoying she is to people. Samraj looked miserable during their conversation at the fire pit, the guy is dead inside and desperate to escape and she's sitting there banging on about how she feels like she's his priority 🫣

When Ellie was ranting about Tommy Priya just had to jump in and make it about herself and how he was apparently one of her options but not anymore. She wants everyone to think she's in demand but in reality no one's that interested.

I just think she is quite self-absorbed and that gets really draining after a while. That conversation with Simraj was largely about all the other people she’s either tried to be with or liked and then she loosely made it into a half hearted compliment about their connection. I also clocked her trying to bring the Ellie and Tommy thing back to her as well when she just didn’t need to say any of that?

I’m not sure about Mica. I think she is a bit desperate due to not liking anyone and now she’s second guessing cutting it off with Samraj. I think he actually likes her so I think the “don’t tell her” thing was actually more of don’t tell her because they’re not even sure what to tell (mica certainly isn’t sure). If a guy came in she really hit it off with, she’d drop samraj. She has come across a bit snaky but I also didn’t think she expected samraj to say he was getting the ick so it’s like made it into a huge thing of him potentially dumping Priya for her and now she’s a bit like not sure I want that

I feel like I’m watching a completely different show when I read the reactions on social media! All this calling Ellie a queen and not taking tit for shouting at Tommy, I just don’t get. It’s the second time this has happened! Yes, she’s calling it out but after the last time she was snogging his face off again the next day. I think it’s only different this time because the bombshell has taken interest.

I also don’t get all this narrative like Angelista and Simba were some love story. From my perspective, while he has been kissing her, he’s shown a lot of red flags (even before Mica!) and look so bored around her. Angelista deserves better but this wasnt some big romance and I hope she’s only ended up in this situation because the show is such an intense and unusual environment rather than that guy being her usual type!

Mica is annoying af saying PERIOD all the time .
Kavan is trying to get Aidan to take Tina off his hands now that he's had his fun with her, what a weird pair of brothers.
Jasmine has given us some great movie night content with her lies about Lorenzo trying to get back with her.
Simba is going the same way as Ope. Fumbling two women, unable to control his anger, and will probably have an engineered dumping within the next week or so.
Angie is too sensitive and boring for Love Island.
Lorenzo and Yasmin are so awkward together it's painful to watch.
Tommy's teeth and mouth knock me sick.

She actually reminds me of a sloth. When she got up to hug Simba it took her 5 working days to put her arms around him. She speaks in slow motion and just all round reminds me one now. I can’t unsee it

I'm kinda low-key high-key loving Angelista's disinterest in the whole villa. Her face is running the gamut of emotions from A to B.

Now don’t get me wrong I know the show has never really been about true love but nothing this year seems authentic - every kiss Tommy does, every empowering speech Jasmine/Ellie makes about standing on business etc, every “cutesie” moment Lola and fitz share and every “can we talk about me chatting/kissing to your partner” confrontation seems less about progressing relationships or genuine feelings and more a desperate attempt for screentime.

We’ve always laughed about that firepit and how people overdo the faces trying to become a meme but this year it’s all the speeches.

No relationship feels authentic - the only reason people even react to couples overstepping is because it threatens their space in the villa. Namibia couldn’t care less about aiden but she knew if he was cracking on with a bombshell her place was likely in trouble.

Even the girls friendships all seem like they chatgbt’d the best way to come across as a girls girl and now they just keep throwing out empty sound bitey speeches and saying they love each other repeatedly but there’s no actual substance,

I mean Jesus last year was toxic but you couldn’t have accused anyone of being fake.

Good analogy: for completeness all it needs is for Simba the Lion King to pop in once a day and tickle her tummy Angie (known as the wounded soldier in our house) will just spend the remaining 23 hours and 59 minutes of the day stretching, rolling and sighing ‍.

I have watched every single Season of Love Island, think i must be jaded now because this one is boring as!
I wish they would get rid of.... Simba, Angelista, Tina, Halle, Chidi and Aiden and replace them with people with actual personality. Cut them all in a brutal task i say!.
