different rules in the uk. in the uk anything gifted or affiliate links all count as ADs, and if you've worked with a brand previously you have to label any posts an AD even if you've bought the items you're featuring.

I was referring to the UK/ASA rules though. Gifted items only count as an AD if the brand had an editorial say in the post. Otherwise, it’s just gifted. So, there has to be both payment and editorial control. It’s not either/or.

Strictly speaking, something is only an AD if you’re paid for that particular post. Not if you did a campaign before and add affiliate links whenever you wear that same item again.
