I’ve used it as a regular cleanser, sometimes in the shower, sometimes at the sink. Even with the cloth I find it just doesn’t really feel like it’s coming off. But I’ll try again - maybe I’m not using it correctly.
Try watching Lisa’s video of it when she launched it. I re watched it a while ago to refresh my memory on how to use it properly with the cloth

Same. The clues about vintage collection and inspiration points towards a compact, but that doesn't seem to be amazing enough to need such levels of intrigue when all her other launches have been without this kind of fanfare.

Could it be matching cases for products and a pressed powder? Like a compact, lipstick cases etc? Lisa loves a lipstick case.
Quoting myself because I sort of called it. I thought there'd be a powder compact case, but guessed lipstick case as well 😁

Full email attached. Looks like you can also get them engraved?
Oooh thanks so much for posting the email! Of course I don’t need it but of course I want it. If there is a pinky nude shade that pretty much like 1c-2c in the pencils I fear I must have to buy it. 🫦

How did you get the email so early? 👀
Wow this sounds great although…..I have WAY too many Lisa lipsticks to get through to justify buying one of these…

Is there a photo on the email?
Got it as an emerald, 11:00 my time, I believe 10:00 UK time.

ETA: @MiffyBay beat me to it, anyway… well, tempting but I have 2 open lipsticks and 1 balm already…

I wonder what the “world’s first” bit is referring to?
Refillable lipsticks aren’t new.

Can’t wait to see the colours and the video.

Guesses as to how much? I reckon around £65 mark with refills around £30-35

Meh. I'm not enthused about this. It looks too big and bulky to be practical. I also think that refillable lipsticks have had their day, because the way we consume make up has changed. Women don't have one lipstick which they use everyday until its used up anymore, then they buy the refill - nowadays it's more likely you'll buy it, use it in rotation with other lipsticks then by the time you feel that you'd like a change (or have used it up, but that's least likely), the brand has stopped making the refills. So you end up with this big 'heirloom' lipstick case but no lipstick.

Also, is anyone really that bothered about packaging beyond it being hygienic and product appropriate? I feel like Lisa is so good on unique formulas that's what I look for in her products, but I just can't tell that much difference between lipstick formulas. And I've got a huge bag of lipsticks already.

You’ve really got a point there, and made me think. I guess I just get excited about the creative process Lisa goes through each time she puts her mind to something. She must think there is a gap in the market for this mono material refill otherwise it would be a waste of time and lots of money for her. I’ve noticed a trend of very expensive lipsticks in the last two years or so, exorbitant prices yet I guess they still sell to people who think the more they pay, the more cachet they acquire. I don’t know if Lisa is trying to expand further into the luxury designer end of the market with this launch. Her price point for this new launch will give the answer to that

So the lipstick and case will be selling for £49; the lipstick refills for £25. There are eight shades and for those who liked the Audrey Hepburn inspired shade, it appears to be back. Called, predictably, Audrey.

Where can you see the colours?
I’m surprised she’s allowed to name shades after people because Charlotte Tilbury had to rename all hers products such as Hepburn Honey

edit: found them on Reddit

I was reading comments on reddit over the last couple of days and thought some of them were pretty harsh. I was still hopeful, but I'm looking through the Rouge portal now and, honestly, I'm really underwhelmed and uninspired.

4 out of 8 shades (Romy/Ashes/Lisa/Medici) are some variation of Muse, which itself isn't the universally flattering shade Lisa seems to think it is.

Then we have Ribbon ... in yet another formula ... for double the price of the other Ribbons.

Boho Cherry is a special occasion colour, which begs the question when will you even need a refill, 3 years from now? and why buy a £50 lipstick you only bring out at Christmas? It does look stunning on the deepest-skin model though, but it's not going to suit me. I have Myth and Jazz which I rarely (never) wear.

Audrey is nice, but I already recreate that look with MAC Boldly Bare + Baume Meet Cute.

Simone is also nice but I can recreate it with MAC Stripdown and any clear lip balm.

The case has no appeal for me.

Sorry, this is a miss. 🙁

I did get the cleanser autumn set, & looking forward to using it. Hopefully it works for me this time.

I really love Romy and the colour Lisa as a refill. I love the case but them I’m a sucker for nice packaging

Well, I thought I was completely uninterested but apparently I am weak. I think the case is beautiful, the formula looks like *the* one, perfect balance of creamy and lasting, I could probably pick any of the shades and be very happy.

That said, I'm not ordering one. I'm job hunting at the moment so might treat myself if I ever get a flipping offer.

I wish she would do a pictures on a spectrum of models each wearing a shade of her foundation, so you could see what the shade looked like on all the different skin tones.

Meh. More nude shades. I just can't get excited.

I love the case too - I really like her sense of design and balance - and I love that it can be engraved … it’s a gorgeous piece of art, and I really like the new velvet bag (because I don’t have enough LE makeup bags 😂) I think it would be a wonderful gift … but I don’t need any more lipsticks, unfortunately!
