I recently found her channel and quite like her. I ended up buying two (Epanoui and Metropolis) but as usual, my courier shipment is a mess. Three for three recent ones. It will get here eventually!@ButterTart thanks for posting that, now I want to buy one after saying I wasn't going to! I used to love the Clarins lip oils, but started to find them just a bit sticky - these look like such a good day/holiday alternative. Going to do a clear out on my lipsticks and balms and see if I can justify it...
I don’t have one, complete virgin of the LE lip world.I have it.
I’m a pale redhead and it comes out as a bright pinky coral on me. It’s hard to describe the colour. It’s my least favourite of all her lipsticks and I rarely wear it because it reminds me of a pink lipstick my mum used to wear in the 80s.
I put it on this morning so I could explain the colour to you and then promptly removed it and used my trusty Kitten Mischief. Not a fan. There are much nicer and more flattering colours imho.
Which LE lipsticks do you already own? If I have it I could then swatch Go Lightly next to it for you to compare.
I think you can only see that if you are a Emerald tier at the momentThere's a lot on the site, if I get chance later I'll screen shot what I can
Oh no, the things I want will be gone by then! That's infuriating. The email says:
Sale unlocked for Amethyst and Tourmalines: 23rd July at 12pm UK time
Thank you.Compared to Betty yes, but I think the mattes can be more temperamental, especially the khaki colour but I used it recently with a different brush and it seemed to go on stronger. Tomorrow I'll swatch Betty and DG in natural light like you did, on my arm so you can compare it to yours.
It’s amazing!I’ve just ordered her mascara. Please tell me it’s worth it because I really didn’t need it.
What were the issues with BFF?Well I’ve been trying out my Skin Tint over the last 3 days. I applied with my fingers each time.
Day 1 - used it on its own. I probably used 4 small drops. It didn’t cover the 3 spots on my face (well they’re not actually spots now, just the marks left over which take ages to disappear once you get older). However, it did soften them and the Skin Tint had a sort of blurring effect on my skin. It’s how I‘d like my skin to look naturally without make up and I don’t think anyone would be able to tell I was wearing anything. By the end of the day the pores on my cheeks did look more noticeable than usual.
Day 2 - I used a primer first to see if that would help with the pore issue. It did! Still pleased with the results.
Day 3 - make up day.
I knew I’d be wearing make up today so I wanted to see how it compared to my usual foundation when I’m wearing blush etc.
Primer first, then Skin Tint, then my usual make up - concealer, light powder, blusher, minimal eye make up and a tinted lip oil.
Wow! I can’t stop looking at my skin! I didn’t think it would be enough coverage with the rest of my make up but it looks so natural. Even though I’m wearing my usual other make up, I look less “done up” than usual. Instead of looking like I’m wearing foundation, it looks like I’ve got very good skin. Best of all, it’s weightless - I cannot feel it on my skin at all.
This is the product I‘ve been searching for for years! It’s everything that I wanted Trinny’s BFF to be but sadly wasn’t. I’ve bought tinted skin serums previously but they still look like I’m wearing foundation, this doesn’t.
I was concerned that this was going to be “The Emperor’s New Clothes” (like BFF) but it isn’t. I love it!
The bottle appears tiny compared to my other foundations yet all contain 30ml so it’s deceptive.
Thanks for the offer but I only have red ones so wouldn't be able to compare. I have only recently come out of a many years long red lip era!Which LE lipsticks do you own so I could swatch Simone next to them for you to compare with what you already have?
