Did anyone here see Lisa’s masterclass yesterday? Such an interesting one, I love these. She mentioned/used forthcoming products that sound/look amazing: a brow gel (that also works on flyaways); a new concealer (that she used under her eyes); a more dramatic mascara (I think she said next year for that). She also used the long-awaited brow pencil and it sounded like we’ll get that soon. I had a few interruptions so there might have been other things ........

No, I missed it. Do you have a link please?

Anyone else find this? I have the skin foundation. As the range caters to olives where basically no one else does, the shade is absolute perfection but I find the wear is not good and after 3/4 hours it starts separating and looking a bit bobbly.

I'm so upset cos I love how it looks for the first hour or 2 💔

She also mentioned a new brush release.

I’ve only tried samples of her foundation but I thought it was a bit cakey on my skin so I never purchased a full size.
Her Skintint however is perfection.
It’s much lighter coverage though.

Thank you, I love her entire range and the shade selection so I have the skin tint too in 5&9 but sorry about me im a millennial so I do enjoy coverage sometimes 😭 hence why I wish the foundation would wear better 😩

I missed it as well as I was at the gym. I tried using the link that was emailed thinking it might lead to a recording but it doesn't. I'm sure last time she did a masterclass, a link to a YouTube video was sent out a couple of days later so hopefully we'll still get to see it.

Have you tried a primer underneath it?
Yes all kinds of primers too! Just a bouncy squelchy moisturiser 😭, a sticky primer, a pore smoothing primer etc., I set it with pixi makeup fixing mist which has form filming ingredients and normally makes my makeup completely immovable but so far nothing has seemed to help!

I'd contact her customer service for ideas. I've not tried the foundation other than samples as the skin tint is everything I need. But I’ve not heard anyone else say it doesn't last or changes. Her team will know some pointers

I love the skin tint, I have it in T6, 6.5 and 7. I do find it becomes shiny on my face in this heat especially with SPF underneath. I do feel she needs to formulate the tint for oilier skin and I don’t see myself at particularly oily but I am on t zone especially summertime. I do have her foundation but even though I was matched for it in daylight at one of her pop ups (before she was in any stores) it’s not quite the right colour for me. (Shade 10) so I don’t really wear it except on odd evening.

so excited to say I managed to get a ticket to the Marilyn and Movies. Event on the 20th! They released more this morning!!

I use Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base and I've never noticed any issues. I asked Google if the foundation was water or silicone based, in case the printers were the opposite. It came back with this:
Lisa Eldridge The Foundation (Seamless Skin) is a hybrid formula that is water and silicone-rich, featuring water as the primary ingredient followed closely by multiple silicones like dimethicone.Ingredient BreakdownFirst ingredient: Aqua (Water)Key silicones present: Dimethicone, Methyl Trimethicone, TrimethylsiloxysilicateFormula nature: Self-setting and skin-like, meaning it acts as a hybrid rather than a pure single-base product.Compatibility TipsPrimers: Because it contains high amounts of both water and silicones, it can pill or separate if paired with overly heavy balmy or extreme water-based primers. Testing it with your specific skincare or primer beforehand ensures a seamless finish.

-----

I presume you allow skincare and primers to fully absorb into your skin before application too?

Thanks for this :).Yes!! Skincare deffo sinks in... the sticky primer and cyclopentosiloxane pore smoothing primers do sit on top of the skin a bit but that's what they're meant to do I suppose. I need to do a process of elimination test like do skincare and my setting spray and see how that fares. Next day do primer but no setting spray etc etc

That's sensible. Have you got a home day soon where you could try different parts of your face with different techniques? Maybe that's a me thing 🤣

I hoped the 'new kitten in town' was going to be the burnt umber kitten flick eyeliner she mentioned a while ago ... but this is cool too  Will obviously have to try it!

I’m going to the Marilyn movies event where I can redeem my £50 ticket on purchases so I may well go for the new mascara and the liquid silk although not sure on which colour to go for.
