I know this is a rave thread but I’m not a fan of the Marilyn Monroe centenary collection. It just feels a bit tacky.

On a happier note, I’ve finding bought Seamless Skin. I made myself use up another foundation first.

I don't think it’s been as popular as she expected.
The only item that’s sold out is the limited edition boxed set. Everything else is still available .
Imho the fancy outside boxes are pointless because, not being a collector, they are just thrown away.

Yeah, if I wanted any of the items already available like dragon gloss or pencil, I'd opt for regular packaging. As much as I love Marilyn and vintage style, it's just packaging I'd throw away.

I feel like they missed a trick commercially not doing an Hourglass-style limited edition packaging. But then I guess the risk is higher for her because basically she’s repurposed existing stock.

I would have gone for the box as it was free with £75 purchase I think but there is no guarantee it would come through the post in one piece! I have the balm highlight and I really love the image of Marilyn so it’s in its box being displayed at the moment. I think Charlotte Tilbury did it better with Norman Parkinson in the sense that the images were on the actual product.

Really interesting reading your comments on the latest launch. This is the very first drop where I haven't bought anything and nothing is calling my name. I can appreciate the aesthetic and do see that's it's a great honour for Lisa to work with the MM estate, but none of the shades speak to me at all. I'd be interested in any feedback you have on the highlighters - I love the bottled ones and don't think this compact version would bring anything new (and would get yucky from swiping!) I'm longing for the blushes, the eyebrow pencil, the creamy concealer and the brown kitten flick!

They are very similar. If you have one you probably don't need the other.

Crystal nebula top, butterfly light bottom. You have no idea how many takes it took to try to get these to show up correctly (or at all) in my current lighting!

Thank you so so much! It looks lovely but I have crystal nebula and your swatches absolutely confirm that I do not need the balm as well.

Might just be the light. In person it looks the same texture as the liquid just a bit less golden in colour

I love Lisa’s Skin Tint but, having tried samples, I wasn’t keen on her foundation.
I was wondering if anyone has tried Dcypher? I love the idea that the shade is matched to your skin and you can decide on the coverage and finish.
