I would tend to agree with you.

My only comment would be I hate the smudger in the VB liners, it lifts so much product. If you blend with a brush the pigment is more concentrated.

There's a wider shade range in VB, which might be worth considering, depending on your personal preference and style.

Hildun and Zoeva are both decent, less spenny options, but the longevity isn't as good as either VB or LE IMHO.

Ah that could be why. I've used the smudger rather than a brush.

I should have mentioned LE has about 6 shades and VB has about 20, including dupes of all the LE shades, or at least the ones i am familiar with

Pinpoint is 2(I think) at top and 3 on bottom. Hope this helps.

I went to 2 Space NK* stores (spit!) this weekend purely because I wanted to compare. 2 skin tint shades. Neither stocked LE products.
Every time I see a Space NK store I go in so I can look at her shades but none ever stock it. It’s odd.

*disclaimer, I’d never buy from them due to the extravagant way they reward “influencers” but I wanted to see the LE colours in person before ordering from her site.

I am a T6 having managed to be colour matched a while ago. Have decided to go mad and try the VB one instead of buying LE. Am treating myself for my birthday. Got colour matched in Selfridges - would never dare spend that much without a match in person.

Used the Velatura yesterday for the first time and I love it - this might be my favourite product so far. It's subtle, but somehow with just a few swipes on lips and cheeks it made me look fresh and healthy. Have to resist more colours now!

I'm impressed too. I'm thinking of buying another one

For anyone after a green eye pencil, I am a high end pencil girl through and through but I always go back to the Rimmel scandaleyes khaki one. It’s great!

THREE new RED lipsticks? Sorry, ignore me or whatever makes you happy if you can't bear to read nothing but worship for Lisa, but I think the brand has been in a deep creative slump for more than a year now and has lost its way.

Those highlighter pots also bring nothing new to the beauty market.

I love Lisa but totally agree.

If I was advising her brand, I'd tell her to focus on anything that perfects the look of skin. She seems to have a real strength there. Give me all the skin tints, concealers for each area of the face, blushes and the like, particularly in formulas which are geared to middle aged skin which is becoming a bit crinkly. Even a base moisturiser designed to go under makeup like embryolisse or magic skin. But all the amazing formulas and application techniques she loves.

Then have a rolling variation of limited edition colour products, geared to collectors. The Betty palette is a great example, so creative, unusual colours which are surprisingly wearable for everyday. The lilac pencil too. Amazing packaging (nb the outer cardboard box having a picture on it is not 'amazing packaging') which showcases her creativity and interpretation of trends.

I'm not sure how necessary a corrector would be for everyone, depending on your area of concern - obviously sales people are usually advised to upsell wherever there's scope for it. I'm in my mid 60s, struggle with poor sleep, very fair quite translucent skin so I have this thing going on where directly underneath my eye is very pale then along the lower orbital bone there's deep bluey black shadow - it's that blueness which particularly benefited from being neutralised with the peach corrector. For generalised redness/uneven skin tone around the nose/"muzzle" area it wasn't needed.

I have the same problem.
I have had dark circles under my eyes since a teenager. Like you, it’s the way the muscle lies under my eyes which creates a dark shadow so I know it will never go.

Sarah Creal has just launched in the UK and I’ve heard good things about her concealer. I would’ve bought that but I shall try Lisa’s first to add to my ever growing concealer collection! I’d have preferred a matte over a luminous but hopefully I can set it with light powder.

I‘m no longer an Emerald, so I will have to wait until tomorrow.

I'm sure you can use five codes for a single purchase.
I'm struggling, telling myself I don't need any blush or lipstick but I do have lots of points to use. The Pomegranate Glaze is calling my name. I had a Josie Maran blush years ago which looked similar and really lifted my complexion. I wonder how it lasts as a blush. I look like the walking dead with no colour on my cheeks.

I was expecting them to be her old blushes but it’s a new reformulation and shades. Hate the name ‘Meeting My Ex’ (reminds me of C Tilbury) and I can’t use dewy or balmy products on my face as they end up looking terrible. Going to be a miss for me!
Don’t understand why she’s having such problems with packaging for her old formula, sounds like she’s trying to reinvent the wheel when so many different packaging already exists which would have housed them safely and stylishly.

I tried one of her shimmery eye shadow pot things and it made my eyelids burn! I complained to both Selfridges and VB but nobody cared!

Charlotte Holdcroft really raves about the Chanel concealer but as she is a top Lisa fan I wonder if Lisa’s offering will knock Chanel off the top spot?

I bought the Chanel loose and pressed powder influenced by Lisa in her videos so I have years worth! If she brings out a compact as beautiful as her rouge experience then I will feel compelled to buy it even if I have loads of Chanel left!

Exchange Chanel for Huda and Kosas and same for me. A compact to match the rouge experience would be perfection. I did suggest a compact and lipstick case as possibles when we were trying to guess what was being released when rouge experience came out, because Lisa loves lipstick cases. It doesn't matter how much I already have of something I'm still going to buy what Lisa releases as you know it will be formulated well

Might just be the light. In person it looks the same texture as the liquid just a bit less golden in colour

I’m really surprised that’s the packaging she’s gone for. Usually Lisa’s products are more elevated in design than this. To me it feels a bit like a cheap cash grab but I get this will be an unpopular view haha

Also wonder why Lisa has yet to add navy to her eye pencils. I purchase VB's navy which is quite nice, yet the price is a bit much. Guilty of buying so much of Lisa's products, many of which I hardly use. Yet I continue to buy things I really don't need. She's that incredible influencing imo.

Are you me? I’m enjoying the VB navy noir but I baulk at the price of it to be honest. The new Marilyn release has made me realise I need to start using my elevated glow highlighter which is at the back of my makeup drawer. I guess because I’m a combination skin and after spf thus time of year I’m glowy enough that I don’t think about adding another glow product, I’ll try it on my eyelids and cheekbones for a special party this weekend and report back. I’m tempted by the butterfly glow Marilyn but I’ve had to reign myself in and be firm in not buying any more makeup.
