Can just imagine her when it comes to weaning: “They say 6 months but that seems too far away for me! She’s definitely showing signs of wanting food at 4 months old” hahahaShe’s going to be in bits over weaning and toilet training if this causes anguish .
Didn’t agree with them until it applied to her - just about sums Lily up. Unless it’s happening to her she isn’t interested.shopping for a push present - GIVE ME STRENGTH
Anything she actually purchased herself.quick challenge: name one thing lily didn’t bring on holiday for the baby
Don't think I've seen anyone lay into her about it. I did object to the '17 hours with almost no pain relief' nonsense though, as though we should be impressed. Her labour, her choice. And it's just that, a choice. Nothing more, nothing less. Equally, I would not be impressed by somebody telling telling me that they'd been to the dentist to have a tooth out and chosen not to have an anaesthetic. Can we not lay into her over her labour though?
That's really harsh. Having nieces and nephews does not prepare you for the early days at all. You need to have a newborn to fully appreciate how tough it can be. My son is almost 6 and I didn't have a chuffing clue when he was handed over to me despite having nieces and nephews and working with young childrenI’m with you here. Lily ha sisters she is close to with plenty of nieces and nephews. It goes to show that she paid NO attention when they were newborn and how bloody tough it must have been for her sisters. Stacey talks about the difficulties but to be real, not to moan.
