I looked at going to soho farmhouse for my hen do, you have to pay 10k a year just to be a member and even then you can only join if you’ve been referred by somebody. Then you pay for your stay on top of that.

She’s going to be in bits over weaning and toilet training if this causes anguish .
Can just imagine her when it comes to weaning: “They say 6 months but that seems too far away for me! She’s definitely showing signs of wanting food at 4 months old” hahaha

I have two children and I never needed all this white noise, headphones and banning cuddles due to over stimulation fussiness. They're both happy and healthy. We took both of them to weddings as babies and our only rule was to sit near the aisle and whichever of us was the least close to the bride or groom would be the one to take then out if they made a noise during the service.

Her post baby body woes is her way of trying to look real, down to earth im one of you guys. Bollocks! She lives a charmed life with everything free, a piss easy job of plugging crap, huge family support and a husband who has went part time to help her out. You have no idea what real is, try a 40 hour week in a busy, stressful job with a husband who does the same, average salaries and not much family support and then we can relate!

Asking for a separate waiting room for her child because she doesn't want her coming in to contact with the great unwashed and contagious public? 🙄

I've been lurking on this thread for ages but today's rant from Lily has me absolutely fuming! My jaw was on the floor listening to her go on about "separate" waiting rooms for babies having their injections, honestly what planet is she on?

A part of me did feel really sorry for her, she posted a throwback picture on her IG stories a few days ago when she was in the early days of her pregnancy and she looks like a different person – much happier and more relaxed. I think she's really lost her way and can't see the positives in anything. It's obviously not anyone's place to speculate/diagnose but I think she needs to take some time off and get herself in a better headspace/talk to her GP.

Has anyone worked out why she is so miserable?

She is close to her parents and sisters and seems to have had a loving childhood.
She has close friends she has been friends with since school.
Rich seems to be a supportive and loving husband.
She has a healthy daughter.
She owns (with a mortgage) a 3 bed home in London.
She doesn't have to pay for anything as it's all gifted.
I mean, come on Lily! Crack a smile!

I actually respect Lily so much for talking about the reality of being a mum and the bad side of it whereas these instamums make it all look perfect... I know which I would rather see.

Can we not lay into her over her labour though?
Don't think I've seen anyone lay into her about it. I did object to the '17 hours with almost no pain relief' nonsense though, as though we should be impressed. Her labour, her choice. And it's just that, a choice. Nothing more, nothing less. Equally, I would not be impressed by somebody telling telling me that they'd been to the dentist to have a tooth out and chosen not to have an anaesthetic.

Her stories about the muslin over the pram really annoy me. Sorry if it hurts your new mum feelings, but draping even a thin muslin over a pram is dangerous - this is a fact. Yes OK, the weather hasn't exactly been scorching lately, but it still isn't safe to do so. Call it 'mum shaming' all you like if that makes you feel better, but it doesn't change the fact it's not safe.

She’s a bloody idiot. That insta story about crying while feeding is ridiculous. So attention seeking. Why would anyone put themselves through that in the first place, let alone put a photo of it on insta. Switch to the bottle and be done with it if it’s that painful, you silly woman. Ridiculous.

She’s had one baby! ONE (1)!!!. One miserable pregnancy that she complained all the way through. Why does she now feel equipped to give parenting advice? Stick to the ADs, sweetie.

I’m with you here. Lily ha sisters she is close to with plenty of nieces and nephews. It goes to show that she paid NO attention when they were newborn and how bloody tough it must have been for her sisters. Stacey talks about the difficulties but to be real, not to moan.
That's really harsh. Having nieces and nephews does not prepare you for the early days at all. You need to have a newborn to fully appreciate how tough it can be. My son is almost 6 and I didn't have a chuffing clue when he was handed over to me despite having nieces and nephews and working with young children

Who doesn’t realise babies wear vests under their clothes? Doesn’t she have sisters who have kids?

I fathom how this woman is going to last childbirth and motherhood.

Why is she so damn obsessed with mentioning her baby has a routine? Its like its her proudest accomplishment. You haven’t cracked the code to parenting lily, Newborn babies like to eat and sleep a lot. She is just creating a rod for her own back trying to force a routine because at some point they will need to do something which doesn’t take ‘the routine’ into consideration

I can just imagine lily if sleep regression hits them.
