Whenever I used to change my baby’s nappy it was always a chance for face-to-face smiles, chatting, and interaction (even in the most fraught of times). As I assume it is with most nappy changing for parents and babies. Makes me sad to see how Lily doesn’t even smile

To be fair baby showers were never something that was done in the UK.
Even as little as ten years ago if you even said you were planning one you’d be looked at like you had 2 heads.
It really is an American trend that come over here, like “prom” and sweet sixteen parties. I don’t think it’s negative saying it’s an American custom or intended as an insult.

She really didn’t have many friends there at all but her family all seem so lovely, her sister is the image of her!

My issue with Lily is not necessarily with what she says but how she says it. Traditions very depending on where you are situated in the world, I get that. But there seems to be a trend with London-based YouTubers pointing out how much more cultured and learned they think they are compared to the rest of the world. Lily's good pal Caroline Hirons likes to take jabs at Americans as well. Somebody should probably inform them that this kind of behavior does them no favors. Also, it's hard for me to take them seriously knowing they consider KUWTK required television viewing. Guess they're no better then the people they enjoy berating.

Ha ha yes classic Lily. Lily is now facing what a lot of mums and ladies in their 30's face, a change in their figure and probably metabolism once they age and/or have children. The difference with Lily is that she will expect miracles with no effort to get back to the figure she had before - if that is what she wants, which is what she seems to be saying 'feel more like me' I might be wrong but I read that as a PC way of saying back to my original figure. I think she is trying to word it in such a way that she is not saying 'bounce back' but really that is what she wants to do and had expected to do with no effort at all.
