Fuck me. someone needs to sit her down and have a read at the history of the troubles. I’m going to be generous and assume she doesn’t know why that could be problematic here. I saw this comment and thought it was bullshit but they really have changed their entire program by the looks of it. No issue with them doing an event but honestly the folk park is all about how Irish people were living like shit and were forced to get on boats elsewhere.


If they always did a Halloween event and thanksgiving event and have cancelled it that is a real shame

Seeing her behaviour pattern now, long term I think there will be some scandal on her and the SDLP will regret selecting her.

Her husband agreeing to be a full time carer to his stepson also seems like a huge commitment. Seems Ms Barr used him to improve her chance of staying in Ireland and then using him as her sons carer. Am I being too cynical?

People from Derry have to travel to The Royal Children’s hospital or to the City hospital for cancer treatment , that’s just normal procedure! If their child is ill they’ll get disability benefits like any normal citizen I don’t get the GFM tbh?

Must have been a free dinner reception. This could have been a genuinely bridge building event as in both ww1 and ww2 people in both north and south fought for the allies.
