I thought the same especially when she doesn’t work.. oh wait no I forgot she’s an influencer #ad“I obvs can’t drop them at two different schools!”
I beg to differ, I know plenty of parents who drop off their children at different schools because they don’t have a choice. It’s not ideal, no, but you CAN.
I was going to say - this is obviously not ideal but doesn’t guarantee that an appeal would go in your favour?! Especially as she is out of borough“I obvs can’t drop them at two different schools!”

Definitely not. We’re due to find out today & I’ve been given the impression that it’s fairly difficult to win an appeal. Not sure if it’s the case all over the UK but in my area, if the year is at capacity then that’s that, they can’t add any extra places.I was going to say - this is obviously not ideal but doesn’t guarantee that an appeal would go in your favour?! Very difficult where I am tooDefinitely not. We’re due to find out today & I’ve been given the impression that it’s fairly difficult to win an appeal. Not sure if it’s the case all over the UK but in my area, if the year is at capacity then that’s that, they can’t add any extra places.

Bloody love this!! Sounds like you’re doing an amazing job. How it should beI would love to message her and ask why she can’t do both drop offs?! She doesn’t work? My husband is In the army, his hours are hectic and he’s away a lot. I was a nurse before kids but couldn’t make the shifts work with kids/hubby’s job so I took a step down from nursing and now work in referrals in an office for nursing community social care (love it, but missing nursing especially now!) but we made sacrifices changing job meaning I could do school run and spend more time with my kids! . I only work 9.30-2.30 and some of my friends think I’m lazy for not doing it full time but because of hubby’s job it doesn’t work out, we have no family near us as have been posted and I can’t keep asking friends.
I have one at secondary (gets the bus as not walkable) and one at primary and one going into last year of nursery in sept so have multi drop off and make it work. Plus My kids do after school clubs here there and everywhere, but I make it work, even When my hubby went away with work for 14 weeks last year and I felt tit I had to remember he will come back and there’s people worse off!!!. lil is just Plain lazy!!!!!!
I know there’s others worse off than me and on their own but clearly lil doesn’t see how easy she has it..... no work, her parents helping her.. time for midday baths..
We are in a similar situation & I’ve had to do similar with my work. You just get on with it.I would love to message her and ask why she can’t do both drop offs?! She doesn’t work? Oh I know I didn’t mean to make out I’m the only one, sorry if I did. Lil doesn’t just get on with it though. She’s selfish and lazy.We are in a similar situation & I’ve had to do similar with my work. You just get on with it.
No not at all, what I meant is loads of people have to do 2 drop offs, it’s not unusual or impossible as she thinks. Good on you finding a school hours job, they’re hard to come by aren’t they!Oh I know I didn’t mean to make out I’m the only one, sorry if I did. Lil doesn’t just get on with it though. In some areas you have to apply separately for infants/juniors! Usually if children are in infants then they’ll get a place in juniors at the same school, but still need to apply in some places. You’re not being thick though it might be different wherever you areIm so confused, I thought Abbie was already at school? In her stories she said, abs has been accepted into the juniors. Am I being thick?![]()
Ahh she’d love her in her class now she’s promised this morning not to slap, hit or kick anyone while Lil giggledView attachment 110865Some people really are a lickers. Abs is what I’d want in a class... isla I wouldnt want to be around as she’d probably try to hurt me
Thank you, how very confusing lol!! I’m back in the loop nowIn some areas you have to apply separately for infants/juniors!
