I thought she was just not saying anything because she doesn't have to and it's not his whole personality but it seems she is dismissing it and just expecting him to work through it by himself.

She struggles shopping in Primark for River, thought she shopped for him in Bonmarche
yes he does. He is going to find school a huge struggle. I hope she’s spoken to the school and made them aware of his needs and isn’t sticking to her ‘rhey will get there in their own time’ mentality. Reception children start learning phonics within weeks, River only said his first words recently - he’s going to find it very overwhelming.Does river start reception this September? Same! My wee one was non verbal in September, he’s now talking (admittedly not in sentences but Christ Rome wasn’t built in a day) counting and reading! It’s been incredible

lots of ASD kids thrive in the right school setting xYes she could until compulsory school age but this isn’t easy to organise so I doubt Jade would do this.
