LGB Discussion #2

One of the most ridiculous and offensive articles I’ve ever read was featuring a man and a woman claiming they were being discriminated for getting married to each other as they were “queer”. As you said, wtf does it even mean? Being gay is not a dumping ground for not being straight.
Glad I’m not alone ! And I do agree , wish more lgb ppl would stop using being “gay” as a crutch for not taking accountability into their own actions

What are meant to be our own institutions and charities are mainly working against us these days, telling us basically it’s wrong to be same sex attracted, that we should be same gender attracted instead and that it’s not homophobic for same sex attracted people to consider dating the opposite sex but it is transphobic for same sex attracted people not to consider dating the same gender.

Exactly why I have no time whatsoever for Stonewall nowadays.

They obviously felt that with the legalisation of Gay and les marriage that 'their work was done.'

In order to stay relevant and to keep the ££££££'s keep rolling in, they then switched focus to Trans and the Gender nonsense.

The work of LGB rights is not 'done'.

There are still many cultures and places around the world that are still incredibly hostile to LGB people. There are still an unacceptable number of homophobic attacks occuring in the UK too - which hover at around 19,000 incidents a year.

In a way you could say that Stonewall have almost become homophobic themselves. Instead of fighting for happy lgb children to exist and become adults they would rather trans away the gay.

Oh, absolutely, the ex CEO of Stonewall described lesbians who are against including transwomen men in their dating pool as “sexual racists” - I should add, she’s married to a woman.

And the barrister representing them in the case against Allison Bailey who basically said her being a woman only attracted to women, as she’s a les and therefore excludes transwomen men in her dating pool could be considered the equivalent of apartheid in South Africa and also male supremacy in the workplace. I could not believe what I was hearing when I heard that gaslighting - I was watching live.

I’m a les…I’m only attracted to women! I don’t like penises, I don’t like the smell of men, I don’t like the texture of mens skin or their hair. I like females, their skin, smell, hair, moods, life experience of going through this ficking world as a woman because I relate to it!

So if there is a human who is insisting they are a woman, if there is a pen attached to then I am not bleeping interested! Testicles even more bleeping so!!! And the violence and aggression FORCING me to be attracted to something I’m not…is NOT SOMETHING A bleeping WOMAN DOES TO ANOTHER bleeping WOMAN!!! Unfortunately that is a very common thing women face from men who get pissy when you tell them no!

I have never in my life been grape by a tina, or gone through life fearing a tina wearer! I have however been attacked by a human with a pen, and been scared shitless by many MANY pen owners because they felt that I should like their bleeping pen! To MANY women, a pen is a bleeping weapon that has been used against them and people they know! Why is this so difficult for these ‘new women’ to understand…oh that’s right…cos Theres a bleeping pen attached! Chop that bleeping thing off and I might take you slightly more seriously when you say you were born in the wrong body. I still won’t be attracted to you however, no still means bleeping no!!!

A man is still a man with or without his pen. He certainly isn't a woman.

I am LGB.

NOT

LGBT
LGBTQIA+

Or the latest nonsense:

MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+

Don't ask me what all those letters stand for, as I haven't got a clue, nor do I give two 💩.

It is just ridiculous nonsense designed to tack on even more hangers on to the LGB cause.

No doubt, someone who is straight but had a gay thought once, many years ago, is included there somewhere!

Like I’ve repeatedly said, anything not under white heterosexual gets included with “the gays” and I’m sure one of those letters/acronyms (I’m not sure what all those letters stand for either) are included in that in some capacity. We are the dumping ground and it’s not bleeping on, IMO.

I am gay, I don’t have any affiliation with someone thinking they were born the wrong sex.

And while we’re at it along the same theme, duck off with “BAME”, so insulting.

So you could end up with straight homophobes in the mix with lgb just because they are at threat of violence

The irony is that disparate groups of people are forced teamed together in these cheap acronyms, cos ‘community’, whereas society has been increasingly atomised.

In some other irony, Stonewall, under a new leader who has called for more calm and both sides need to be more kind (🙄) has enraged the T’s. They say Stonewall are hateful and transphobic(!) because the new leader also praised JK Rowling’s talent at writing in an interview. This is proof that unless bended over backwards for 100% of the time about everything trans related then even the institutions that catered towards 100% of trans are at risk of being called “transphobic”. How to win friends and influence people How to lose support and alienate people. Warning, major Main Character Syndrome and hyperbole ahead from some of the comments from the last few days:

I've seen some people calling them Sonewall because they don't care about the T

We are slowly, but surely being torn away from LGB by certain organisations. It’s feels to me as if this is being done by design. It certainly looks that way by LGB Alliance and now Stonewall. They have nailed their colours to the mast it seems. It’s a divide and conquer tactic.

The terfs are spreading their rotten roots into every organisation with the guise of “fair debate and concern”. Stonewall has fallen now, they are trying to pull the rug up from under our feet.

So now Stonewall are appealing to heterosexual bigots... What a useless charity.

Genuinely what is the actual point of the "charity" sector in the UK, when it allows openly hateful organisations like the LGB Alliance while also taking over the orgs that were supposed to be "progressive" to manufacture consent about that same bigotry. This country is rotten from top to bottom with transphobia, but at least the career bigots on Twitter get to dogwhistle, that's clearly All That Matters in this kangaroo court. duck these sycophantic traitors at Stonewall who sit there enabling trans genocide while misusing the name of the original protest, which would have been exactly against people like them.

How the duck am I ever supposed to forgive cishet society after all this? We cannot go through a cycle of society going full Fourth Reich on us every time the petrol price goes up over and over again.

Wider society clearly learned nothing when they watched us drop dead of AIDS. Forgiveness was a bad idea then, and a worse idea nowWhich group will they go for in twenty years time? What group of children will they just suddenly decide it's perfectly okay to torture?

Bit of a debate going on in The real life crime & murder thread.. (the link will take you to the actual post it starts #367 not the one shown here)

"We will, unfortunately, never get rid of all paedophiles (if only we could! ) but we can do our best to reduce the risks by not giving young babies to gay men"

Sorry, I forgot to say the subject matter that this post started with is very upsetting. You may not want to read it.
