Good grief, that’s a lot of money to owe! I wouldn’t fancy my chances with a Somali gang either. I hope his family get some answers/closure.

The gang stuff would’ve come from Levi himself who would’ve told someone a while ago. It’s not like anyone involved would’ve come forward. I’m leaning towards paranoia/mental health. These private investigators always give false hope and come up with leads, it can be so exploitative.

Are you thinking it’s more likely a gang stalking thing? This thread was the first time I’d heard of that term and went down a bit of a rabbit hole with it, fascinating but terrifying to be a victim of your own mind like that.
Yes, sadly. I’ve seen it happen with an acquaintance and I’ve known of a couple of missing people cases where the outcome has ended up being the most likely one (suicide after a period of depression and other mental illness).
I’ve seen the gang stalking live on mental health patients when They’ve been on my inpatient ward. I’m not easily affected but it’s really scary watching someone’s mind do that to them

it almost sounds like a Netflix series, it’s literal madness that this probably does go on around the world. It almost sounds like Line of dutyAlso probably a bit of a reach (by me) but he mentions about journalists being involved and it makes me wonder if that’s why there’s not overly been any coverage about this. Hardly anyone I know has heard about him being missing

Confirms for me this really is some kind of psychosis, he sounds deranged and I don’t mean that horribly, he’s clearly unwell. Poor guy.
I've just watched the whole thing. How horribley upsetting. That poor guy. His poor mother. That sounds like psychosis to me. Heartbreaking.

Have to agree with possible psychosis and mental illness suggestions. I feel so sad for him and his family not knowing what's happened.

When I first became aware of this case, I thought “young guy who hasn’t long come out of the closet alone in Barcelona - he’s gone off with someone on Grindr and it’s gone wrong”. However, there’s been absolutely no mention of any dating apps in the reporting so this is almost certainly not what happened.
Then, in the GMB interview, his mum mentioned that he asked to borrow money in one of their final conversations. Next, all these stories about debts and gangs come up. It might be media sensationalism but maybe there is some truth to it.
Now there’s footage that appears to show he was mentally unwell.
It’s really sad that it literally could be any of those outcomes or even something else entirely. I hope he is found safe but if that doesn’t happen, I hope his family get the answers they need.

That isn’t true. There has been reporting in all the major national newspapers and on all the news channels too.
In the video he says he made a friend he now calls an acquaintance in the X Factor days, he went somewhere with this person and believes he was drugged and filmed performing sexual acts
Some parts could sound paranoid like believing his medical records were being leaked to the gang, but when he mentions journalists he says he was told that not that he knew it
This video that he made with what sounds like a prepared statement / timeline it’s posted deleted then he goes missing can it just be dismissed as mental illness I don’t think so
