Yes I watched the video, it was disturbing

He claimed he was being blackmailed, stalked, fearing for his life. He said he had been drugged, and that there was explicit videos and photos on the 'dark web' circulating. He claimed that these people had links to the police so could not report it, and that they had access to his medical records. He spoke about instances when he had been to the doctors, or police and these people knew straight away. He also said they made him leave his rugby career. He said this first started a few years ago, after befriending somebody after XF.

Sorry for rambling there was a lot of information.

Now sorry if I speak out of line but having seen the video and then heard what his family have been saying about deep mental issues and depression, I wonder if all of this was in his head? It is terribly sad, I've followed him for years, I hope there's a positive outcome :(

Turns out poor Levi was telling the truth. A huge TV exec contacted him under the pretence of a role, got him to take explicit photos, and he went to a party, was drugged, raped and extorted.
The police are investigating.

EXCLUSIVE: Missing rugby and X Factor star Levi Davis may have been snatched off the streets of Barcelona and kidnapped by British gangsters, family fears

The 24-year-old's mother said a private detective uncovered that the X Factor star may have been kidnapped by criminals from London in dispute over money

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, distraught Julie said the investigator had received an anonymous tip several days ago to say that her son had got into a dispute with criminals two years ago while he was playing rugby for Ealing Trailfinders in 2020.

'We desperately need to know more because this could change the whole nature of the investigation,' she said. 'The anonymous tip was given to private investigators who are helping police look for Levi.

'The person was very cagey and revealed very little details other than to say that 'persons in the UK are involved in Levi's disappearance' and that it stems from a falling out he apparently had with a gang in London when he played rugby there.

'I do know of some difficulties he had with some people who showed up to his flat in Ealing but don't know what the disagreement was about or how serious it was.

Gavin Burrow, the private detector, added: 'We've received several anonymous pieces of information that point to the fact that Levi's disappearance is not voluntary.

'There are definitely people in both London and Barcelona who know what's happened to him and we are following the leads we have been given.'

------

Updates today, wow, maybe the Instagram video he uploaded about people after him was true and not a mental health episode?

Just watching his poor Mum on GMB, there’s still no news. Poor lady looks out of her mind with worry as anyone would be. I do hope he’s found soon, can’t begin to imagine her pain 😢

Confirms for me this really is some kind of psychosis, he sounds deranged and I don’t mean that horribly, he’s clearly unwell. Poor guy.

Just seen that's he's potentially been spotted in an area used by homeless people. He supposedly looked really lost 😪 I hope in the nicest way possible it is mental health issues and there's not anything deeper going on.

My Catalan is poor (so don’t know if I even read it correctly) but this Catalan news outlet has reported that two men went into the the irish bar where Levi was last seen, claiming to be English police officers investigating his disappearance and asking lots of questions. Doesn’t say whether they were English or not, but they apparently were barely able to speak Spanish. Spanish and British police have confirmed that they were not real police officers and they have no idea who they are.

Good grief, that’s a lot of money to owe! I wouldn’t fancy my chances with a Somali gang either. I hope his family get some answers/closure.

Missing rugby star Levi Davis 'owed £100,000 to Somali mafia after party lifestyle

Missing rugby and X Factor star Levi Davis owed around £100,000 to the Somali mafia, it was claimed today.

Respected Catalan newspaper La Vanguardia said the 24-year-old, who disappeared in Barcelona nearly three months ago, had got himself into huge debt after his party lifestyle spiralled out of control. An unnamed member of the team of private detectives put together by the British investigator hired by Gavin’s distraught family was quoted by the paper as saying: “Davis came to Barcelona fleeing from these criminals.

This is so sad and obviously very worrying. I’m really hoping he is found safe and well. Such an awful time for his family 😣

I think at this point it’s pretty unlikely he will be found alive. I feel so bad for his mother, this xmas period must’ve been unimaginably hard for her

Levi described being drugged and his assault streamed online

So many people don’t believe him because the story sounds far fetched but it isn’t

People are paying to livestream the abuse of men women and children this is all known not an outlandish idea at all

This is a quote from crown prosecution website on chemsex assaults of gay men there’s cases of deaths from overdoses at these parties

There have been an increasing number of reports of rape and/or sexual assaults committed in chemsex settings including of men being deliberately overdosed so they can be raped by one or more men. Prosecutors will be familiar with guidance as to the impact of drug and alcohol use on capacity to consent. It is important to be aware that victims of rape and/or sexual assault committed in a chemsex setting may be reluctant to support a prosecution on account of fears that they will be prosecuted for drugs offences.

Bless this guy. I think about him often. I think more about why it doesn't/,didn't get more press interest and high profile people talking about it.
