Don't get me wrong I think it's absolutely tragic what's happened. But what was a 5 year old doing out on his own? Apparently he was with another 3 kids who couldn't have been much older, one of them kids sent him to the shops.
The driver was disqualified, shouldn't have been driving, but would the outcome be any different if he had a license and was insured? He wasn't under the influence. Tragic accident. But I don't see anyone holding the parents to blame, they've just fobbed it all on this guy where as I think letting a 5 year old roam the streets on his own is an accident waiting to happen.
Don't mean to be insensitive.
