A tragedy?! Oh please. If her career was that important to her then she should have thought about that before she got pregnant and had two kids, harsh but true. It’s how it works, young children and the demands of being in a pop group are not compatible. It’s nothing to do with the patriarchy or any other nonsense like that. Why are you choosing to ignore the fact that she already had a successful career before Hear’Say? She’d provided session vocals for songs that reached the top ten in the charts!

This isn’t a rave thread and people are allowed to criticise her and her behaviour. Telling people to ‘duck off’ because they don’t share your point of view isn’t acceptable either.

I cringed a bit when Kym and all the family showed up to Emily's The Voice audition. I think Emily also auditioned for BGT. She changed the spelling to "Emilie" when she started her singing career.

The same style of dress in each pic she is so predictable, I wonder if her 4th dress will be the same once her young husband wakes up and leaves

So cringe that she kept trying to make her daughter “happen” at one point. She’s not going to happen! Changing the spelling of your name does not mean you’re going to become famous.

Also, it's possible to do a music degree and pursue a steady career in music (e.g. music production, teaching, songwriting, composing) without going on these talent shows to try and be a star where very few ever make it.

Yeah. Jennifer Metcalfe. They got together on DOI behind her back. And then when Jorgie Porter partnered with him on DOI afterwards she said “he won’t go for burgers” as in he’s got steak at home so he wouldn’t cheat with Jorgie

She’s also another one who can’t stay single and her relationships seem to have overlapped each time. She was still married to her first husband when she got together with some bloke who was in Corrie with her and he had a girlfriend. Then she split with him and shortly afterwards met Sylvian on Dancing on Ice. He was with Jennifer Metcalfe from Hollyoaks at the time.

Yes and there was a huge Twitter spat with loads of the Corrie cast sticking up for Samia and the Hollyoaks cast sticking up for Jorgie.

I think there was a debate at the time whether Samia was still with the Corrie co-star when she met Sylvian. She always claims she didn't do anything wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if the rumours were true.

Is Antony Cotton (best buds with Kym and some other Corrie girls) really as vile as rumours online have suggested? I haven't seen much on here about him but people were scathing about him on the Digitalspy forums
