Anthony Cotton does a lot with a veterans charity, so that’s probably how they knew each other. I agree he’s a foul bleep.

Many years ago my very rich sister in law wanted me and hubby to rent one of her homes, she asked me to declare on an official housing benefit form ”we were not related”. There is some clause that this must be declared as the local council might not pay the benefit. it was a bad time for us as my husband became very unwell and so had to get help with our rent.
I declined the house( a lovely detached house) I didn’t want to get into something where we had to lie.
just wondering if rules are the same with declaring your landlord as a family member?

you dont have to lie .Ive rented from grandparents and claimed housing benefit.We disclosed everything ,our wages,how much rent we paid,we have a proper tenancy agreement that wad arranged through a solicitor .

Mediocre singer like her mother.
Am I reading this right. She’s saying how it’s not because of her mum and because of how hard she’s worked and then a few lines down it reads that her mum introduced her to a few producers which led to her recording her album. I get that she may have talent and also may have worked hard on the album but lots of other people are equally as talented but they don’t have famous mums who can introduce them to producers. Just accept and acknowledge your privilege and the step up that you’ve received.
