Let's not also forget the babies born in gaza also today who will grow up with the most horrific trauma to be inflicted on any human beings ever.One of them is from Derry, the other two from West Belfast and their age is irrelevant. There are babies being born today who will be affected by the troubles because intergenerational trauma isn’t anecdotal.
The biggest report of its kind into intergenerational trauma in NI was completed in February and the findings were conclusive, intergenerational is widespread and affects everything from educational outcomes to health and life expectancy. We have huge legacy issues here, walls still divide parts of Belfast because our “peace” is a very fragile one. Shocked I have to point that out tbh.
