No! We bombed our towns believe it or not . I’m glad someone saw sense and took the olive branch ,even though traitor isn’t a great label to have . We still have hardliners but they’re in a minority now and shunned by most.
Yes, my point was, it's not 'dissidents' to blame for everyone being 6ft under surrounded by rubble in Gaza. And if the Brits had acted in the same way Israel has, the blood would be on their hands - and I'd hope people would call that out and attempt to stop them.

That calls for the Buckie 😂…Must be why he’s been quiet recently?
I didn’t even mention the part where he gave away his kidney 😅😂 he posted earlier about the police presence at the show last night, sounded like he was there.

They're being investigated by counter terrorism police. So presumably they could be looking at terrorism charges.
They have been cheering for terrorists. I don't think they are genuinely supporting terrorists but they were flying the flag. They just seem dumb to me. Like little boys trying to be hard men. They obviously know they went too far too because they're denying it now.

Yet cancelled for highlighting a regime that kill thousands of women and children 😏
They broke a law. Nobody said they were wrong. Unless the law doesn't apply to them. I wish I could break laws without fear of being arrested.

There’s nothing to say the couple killed were in favour of Netanyahu’s regime ? You can’t just ditch your nationality 🤷🏼‍♀️
People shouldn't be killed because of their political beliefs, either. Which everyone seems to have forgotten.

I like Kneecap but it's literally well known that it's a criminal offence to publicly support or endorse a proscribed terrorist organisation.

It's not a crime, however, to voice support for the Palestinian people, and it's possible to do one without the other

I'm a bit of a free speech absolutist, so I personally don't give that much of a shit what anyone says. Individuals are entitled to their views whether I like it or not. However, this is edgelord, publicity seeking behaviour (and has been successful!).

I don't think you can claim to give a fuck about women and children and then be flying the flag for Hamas, figuratively or otherwise.

Also, 9.1 million people in Syria are on the brink of starvation (if not already there) due to the actions of the EU (among others). I'm not usually one for whataboutery but it seems very odd the obsession with Israel and Palestine while many more staving victims of war, exacerbated (or, indirectly created) by the same agents involved in Israel/Palestine are largely ignored elsewhere.

The arguments about Kneecap have absolutely nothing to do with Rangers or what was displayed yesterday, but someone felt the need to bring it into the argument.
I posted that, so have a go at me if you're going to have a go at anyone. I brought it up in relation to the sectarian terrorism/non terrorism chat which grew organically from the conversation. But even above that, I do think it's relevant to the thread, given Celtic's connection with Palestine also.

Oh come on now @Wee Nora, I think my post was fairly balanced and I readily admitted to not knowing much about their work because a) I don't listen to rap and b) especially if it's in Irish. I know of them through Hasan Piker and the Palestinian cause. Anyway, what is wrong with using the word agitator? Agitator is defined as "a person who stirs up others in order to upset the status quo and further a political, social, or other cause." I could have called them shit-disturbers. I would use the same word to describe Kanye, Madonna, Morrissey or John Lydon; people who have a history shooting their mouths off for shock value.

You can learn all you want about a subject in history, anecdotes from family, people who were there, but it will still never compare to actually living through it.

I don’t see them baiting the unionist community at all. I actually think they always come across balanced in interviews - they supported the youth clubs on both sides, and even had young Spencer (a proud unionist) support them at their Belfast gigs. They constantly speak about how much both sides actually have in common with each other.

They’ve always been very vocal about not having an issue with people identifying as British in NI, but having one with British rule / the govt.
😏 Better than most of our MLA’s

in news that will shock no-one.
I was surprised they even got on the bill in a city that has so much sectarian bother.
Fair play they’ll do a gig in Glasgow; it’s not their fans they need to worry about but all the tits at a festival deciding to ‘demonstrate their opposing beliefs’ while they’re on
The 11th of July wouldn’t be the best day of the calendar 😂
