Her childhood sounded awful, definitely horrendous, like you've said Shawads - but it's like she revels/goats in it - why would you want to keep going over it. I know i wouldn't. For her it's given her a career - she gets paid to go over her past. It can't be healthy.

Yes it must be money related, her story is genuinely dark and sad and I guess it’s a bit like those awful books people used to read in the 90s autobiographical stories of child abuse, there’s a huge audience for it so there’s definitely coinage involved and maybe it’s cathartic for her? Getting paid to therapise herself?

Kerry once stated that because DJ is mixed race she does look a certain colour. I get that she is very light skinned. There are many shades of black and being mixed race myself. All my siblings skin tone are not all the same. But DJ does look jaundice and have some features that resemble alcohol abuse by mum in utero
