Consumer habits are changing. People are more conscious about single use products and not decorating and having mugs and mousemats for every damn season.

Also no offence to Catherine (I do actually admire her even though I gossip on here) but things like her “vampire range” aren’t timeless/classic…people will most likely bin it after this year. I also don’t get the mug and sweatshirt thing, I don’t link that to an illustration business? and I think they look cheap (again not a timeless look) can imagine finding one of those mugs in a charity shop soon.

Poor Catherine’s all burned out because she hasn’t had a proper holiday.

I feel like she doesn’t care for the environment with the amount of stickers she puts on all her packaging no one is going to keep them Catherine! This whole aesthetic thing is getting out of control.
Also, she keeps designing more products and lacks the focus to launch things on time or “how she wanted” - design fewer items and prioritise them instead then! She’s been doing this years now, come on.

Without wanting to be unkind, I really don’t understand what it is she works hard at for Katnipp. Unless she means her social media, which seems to be the priority.

The way she faffs about endlessly in the studio, getting product shifted and orders out of the door cannot be the priority. Everything is s o o o o s l o o o w. The endless reorganisation of stock, putting it in boxes and making stickers for the boxes to write the product name on. Tidying boxes on shelves, putting white sticky back plastic on desks to make them look nice, the pink decor…. This is not how a real business operates. She fannies about hand packing a sheet of stickers with a thank you card, tissue paper, a glassine bag and a sticker to seal the stickers with. If this is genuinely how she operates then she can get given as many flashy printers as she likes, the business will never expand. There’s so much waste in all of her manual processes she’s literally throwing money away.
And to try and tell us that she’s deprived of a holiday? Cheeky witch. She’s literally ALWAYS away and I’m sorry but the fact that you’re pointing a camera at everything you eat doesn’t mean it’s work. You’re taking a camera on holiday to make videos like millions of people do. I noticed that she had to put lots of disclaimers on that vlog as subtitles because she must have realised how ungrateful and entitled she was sounding.

I have been watching since COVID but lately it's started to grate on me just how much she tries to come across like the busiest person in the world but yet managing to go on holiday constantly. It's the lack of self awareness that so many people aspired to have the level of success she does and they think they're not working as hard as her, but really they're probably working much harder. Every time she does a product launch it stresses me out that she doesn't have time to do anything because she's going away every 2 weeks it feels like.

I appreciate that she is slightly more genuine and relatable, will point out historical things when she goes on holiday and really has an appreciation for things, but her approach to her work is aggravating ever since COVID ended. Glad I found this thread, I knew thered be some people who felt the same!

She's not a child at school or a teacher or a politician. People may take their two weeks holiday, but otherwise people still work. And in many areas you can't take any time off in August.
