She does or did have regular singing gigs in the evenings and weekends at holiday camps. That was her regular paid work. I think she said recently she did one in a socially distanced way. So Covid hasn't made that viable. It's a shame her DIY and cooking skills are so bad. Plenty of opportunities to film there. Especially with a gorgeous kitchen! Shopping and hauls are so repetitive. It's not even frugal in spite of charity hauls. It's always repeats of the same stuff. If she really worked a little bit harder she could have a fun and varied channel. But she's going down the path of least work and least editing.

I think Mr Carrington would be wise to distance himself for Kate. I never watch his videos when she is in them. His star seems to be rising.

Agree. I've just watched a car boot sale video with Kate, Mr C and Luke, and Mr C looks very half hearted in it, he really didnt want to be there, I bet he doesnt do it again.

I cant remember what video it was it but she mentioned Mr Carrington doing his bargain spotting on Stephs Packed Lunch and she didnt seem to happy. Please please please dont let her be in any tv programme!! Shes too annoying, eventhough she thinks shes something special.

A funny thought occurred to me after watching the Primark make up haul. We have long thought she is two faced, but it turns out she actually has 10!

Lol I came across one of her videos (Weymouth holiday from a few years ago) and thought what an odd woman. It was her Dad’s birthday and her son kept opening her dad’s presents and cards and I thought why not stop him??
I digress - then I came across her singing videos (oh dear God please make it stop!)
Who is she?

Kate appeared on YouTube about 3 years ago I think. She has always been rather naff. She was a radio presenter on various crap local stations for a while, and also performs 'gigs' in holiday camps. She seems to think she can sing. As you have have already heard, she clearly cannot. She also seems to think she has a gift for comedy, pulling faces and putting on stupid voices regularly in her videos. It is beyond cringe worthy.

The main thing however that she bases her personality on is her extensive collection of mugs, and in each of her videos you are treated to her 'mug of the day'. Quite honestly, the only mugs are those of us watching such crap.

On the surface she seems naff but harmless, but look a little deeper and you realise she isn't a nice person at all. She's greedy beyond belief, and 'hauls' endless amounts of things from charity shops / car boots sales / poundshops etc. Basically, if she can lay her hands on it, she's having it and would trample over anyone to get it. She's also completely lazy and seemingly spends each and every day lazing around her garden contributing absolutely nothing of value to anything or anyone.

Boring as ever, more hauls etc. Don't think much of the 50p dress she is wearing in her latest Instagram post. It looks too small and short. She would be better off investing in a few nicely fitted quality pieces rather than lots of cheap fast fashion tat which is more suited to teenagers than someone in their 40s. I have just flicked through her last video, she showed 2 large fabric conditioners, then said Lee does a ‘lot‘ of the washing.

What the fook does she do in that house?, apart from buy tat.

I like Louise as well, at least she has good content and shows us her bakes.

Rosie Henshaw pulls off amazing and funny no edit vlogs because she has no clue how to edit. Comparison was drawn between them both on here so I'm wondering if Kate thought she'd try her hand at it herself or does it just come down to laziness.




I think she's aware of the thread but rather than shake herself off in private and then be proactive, she chose to do a pity party vlog about a situation where she knew she'd garner sympathy. She's also peeved because she can't go shopping in actual charity shops for the next 4 weeks.

Yeah, thinking about it some of what she said in her pity party reflected what has been said on here - especially when she said she is feeling lonely. Was she just wallowing to try and justify her behaviour - I think so. Maybe she is feeling lonely. I know she acknowledged that she has Lee and Toby, but I still thought it was quite a nasty and ill considered thing to say towards them - she is lucky to have a loving (or at least that's how it seems on the outside) little family around her. People who live on their own may literally see nobody for days on end. Yet again, completely blind to the real world. Lives in her own little privileged bubble.

I decided to watch her latest video.

Firstly why is she buying size 10s and smalls. Bit ambitious love.

Secondly, she bought a striped dress which she claims will be ideal if they 'have a boat out' as it's quite nautical! How often does she go boating ffs?! What is she now Kate 'Captain Birdseye' McCabe? She lives in a fantasy world.

Thirdly, she says that a black jumper dress she has bought would be good for Louise (it probably would because it looks cheap and naff like her). Problem is though it cost her £5. Like she's going to give her it for free! She'll ask for the fiver or something in return.

He's rising in popularity with this character and doing it well. I'm glad others enjoyed it. I think Kate has had a desire to be famous for being funny but hasn't got it in her. She's holiday camp singer level of entertainment . She never mentions that anymore though.

Yes, that occurred to me too. She also went on about some chipped plates, presumably in an effort to justify buying more. We all know she must have hundreds of everything stashed away gathering dust. I've lost count of how many jugs she has bought. She doesn't have the means to make use of everything she has bought, so where does it all go? No wonder she can't get a job - she must literally spend all her days rearranging 'stuff' and buying yet more. She has a soulless existence and she has no shame about her greedy behaviour. None of it is about charity.

Not as far as I am aware. He's brilliant isn't he? Really genuinely funny and smart.

I get the impression he has worked really hard for his success too - something McGreedy would know nothing about.
