Kate on Instagram 30 minutes ago: "I’ll have my bloods taken on Tuesday and return to the oncologist on Wednesday to get his opinion - I’m expecting him to say stay on the targeted therapy drug (Alectinib) until further notice. When we first met 3 months ago he had already heard of my case, he was fine for me to go to Mexico so I’m hopeful he’ll enquire about the therapies I’ve been doing."

So... surely with her saying she's NED and implying it's all to do with Mexico, surely the oncologist would want her to get a pet scan?

Oh and the boyfriend's back on the cards, she says. I had been wondering because she hasn't mentioned him since Mexico, unless I missed it.

If the oncologist is satisfied with the scans she’s had done and doesn’t want anymore done, surely it would be because s/he feels like the targeted therapy drug is doing what it should…

This is just the alectinib effectively shrinking the tumours. She will eventually become resistant to the drugs and her cancer will come back. In my opinion, I don’t believe hope for cancer is doing anything special for her except a placebo and giving her ‘hope’. I wish her all the best but watch this space in 6-12 months time; if it’s still ‘in remission’ I’d be calling the entire story bull.

So I’m not any sort of medical professional at all, but necrotic tissue comes from something dying, right. The rumour is embedded in there amongst healthy tissue so the only way it could have died is with targeted therapy, otherwise all the healthy tissue around it would suffer the same fate. None of the therapies at the clinic were targeted, I’m pretty sure 🤔

Thanks for transcribing it! Absolutely insane behaviour from her.
So something must be up for her to go to an oncologist. I reckon once radio got the correct results they said you need a doctor. Then i saw this comment. I love that this lady said radiation and that kate should know about it. This woman is first hand proof that you dont need a blue tongue, coffee in your mole or a pen helmet to be in remission. You need science. But what strikes me as odd is Kate wanting to know this lady's story. And its not so she knows what to anticipate moving forward. Its so she can continue her grift using the other lady's story. She will adopt what she says into her next narrative.

I came here as I follow the cancer influencer thread.

I would like to think no one would ever lie about having such a horrific disease but I know there are some sick people out there that would (i worked with someone that did and others who have lied about parents etc having cancer, sick b@stards 😡)

A friends husband has stage 4 lung cancer at a young age and he too has it in his brain, spine, liver and pelvis. He has had everything thrown at it in less than 6 months; chemo, radiation, now targeted chemo pills (verylast stop option will be immunotherapy) He was told by his oncologist to yes make healthy changes/choices but dont go radical with it as it can shock the body and lead to other complicationsThe alternative treatments such as diet etc in mexico may have helped her immune response but absolutely no way will they shrink or cure anything as serious as this, imo it’s nothing more than a wellness/detox retreat.

I went down a rabbit hole like others here on the h4c page and all but her and another lady seem to have passed away. If she was this medical marvel why is it not in the mainstream news/media?

Out of curiosity did she have chemo at any point? Or did she not get offered it/declined it?

Something I dont get is she never mentions family on her instagram but as its so public, if she were lying, surely a relative would have appeared to say something?!

It’s certainly a very odd story. Cancer is a truly awful disease and while she would be evil for making this up, I hope she is because dying of cancer and leaving a kid behind is not something I would wish on anybody.

My brothers ex gf said she had leukemia to get a week off work. She told my brother she had annual leave. Then she got all these flowers and gifts sent to the house and my brother was like whats wrong? And she's like I told them I had cancer. He was like yeah nah bye.
There have been scammers for centuries. Unfortunately now with the Internet its easier to scam bc its so much easier to look up how to say your cancer is going and learn about bull therapies etc.
She definitely had cancer but the grift for mexico is just one giant grift.

thats just awful 😞 lady at my work said she had breast cancer, was adopting a child from overseas and that her dad had s3xually abused her. Her sister and mother actually visited the owner one day to say she is very sick mentally. Beggars belief honestly!

I think everyone has been touched by cancer some how, i have 2 friends with it and lost my mum to it.

this whole story is just bizarre

We had a woman at work who kept taking time off for 'treatment' and things just started not adding up. When she was (gently) asked for a letter from her doctor, perhaps some indication of the future treatment plan, she literally NEVER CAME BACK TO WORK. Ghosted the company! I can't understand how people can live with themselves.

Her doctor in London gave the Australian radiology clinic permission to give her results on site.

It's all such a load of smoke and mirrors bull, as if her doctor in London has any jurisdiction over what the clinic does or doesn't do.

She's really doubling down on her praise and promotion of that clinic isn't she? Do you reckon they waived or discounted their fee in return for promo?

She keeps saying her doctor in London.
She's a GP and she is not registered in the UK.
She is only registered in Australia. Stop making yourself sound more exotic. Unless you can find her on the GMC register here while I couldn't then she isnt a doctor in London. She is your GP mate who is currently physically in London. duck me the grift is strong with this bleep.
Also, agree with you Miss B, she's been reading tattle. Had to carefully explain that they're private so that we wouldnt get them in trouble.
Also her choice of words in the last sentence are deliberately misleading. MRIs are no-radiation anywhere in the world, its magnetic resonance. Stop scaring people into getting scans that can save their life.
And yes spectral CT uses a bit less radiation than standard CT but not enough to make people spend a fortune on scans when they can get a CT for free under NHS/Medicare.
She could say spectral is superior as it has a way to detect different materials. But no, she has to demonize radiation. Which I very truly believe she got tonnes of when her brain was zapped. Liar, cheat, grifter.
