The story she made earlier in the week about hoping to be NED by the end of the week but giving herself to end of the year… was all a pre cursor to build up the anticipation knowing what lie she was going to spin. She is honestly rum
I still can’t get my head around her story especially this last diagnosis- I know there’s people out there low enough to fake stuff like this (I’m a scam podcast junkie) and maybe I’m being naive but surely this radiologist can’t be in on the scam? And if they follow her on social media then they’re aware of the narrative she is spreading??
I definitely don’t believe that she’s gone from riddled with cancer to NED in 6 weeks and I strongly believe any improvement she’s having is due to the targeted therapy and her story definitely doesn’t make sense in parts but I just cannot fathom that all these practices are in on the lies especially the radiology clinic that’s the hardest one for me to wrap my head around!

Absolutely this. I now think she had a longer timeline in mind, but the sudden negative attention/uncomfortable questions that she didn't get to this extent last time around have freaked her out. Although I'm curious about where she goes from here because we're not going anywhere!

I think it's entirely likely that she is still riddled with cancer (and deeply in denial about it), but that the targeted therapy (plus possible radiotherapy that we don't know about) is keeping things at bay for now. Time will tell, I suppose...

A radiology place like that I think would go along with most things if it means social media likes
They literally do MRIs for cancer screens just cos
Their advert is “get the same scan Kim kardashian had”

This place is pretty much the radiology worlds answer to the fake over the top everything augmented Gold Coast culture
Influencers health care

I’m surprised Christie swaddling doesn’t fly up for one to find out why she’s bloated all the time…. (Spoiler alert it’s the alcohol)

I wonder if they have an agreement of some form with H4C. I have never seen a Radiology place put a comment on a patient's social media. And name another radiology that lets the patient into look at their scan while it's been checked/reviewed. It reminds of the Geoffrey Edleston days of his clinics with the grand pianos, gold and glitter.

100% they would overstep the bounds of professionalism for social media engagement. Even talking through the scans before even running the test that would give them the full picture is SO unethical, let alone in public? But they’ll look totally inept if it comes out they’re incorrect.

It hadn't even been seen by the Dr on the premises who reads and reports on it. Its definitely unprofessional.

It's interesting, there was a gap inbetween posts, then a 'oh hi, I see my story was picked up on tiktok, I don't post here much'.. then the book post, then the cancer came back. Then the gfm.
I also feel icky, but the timing is interesting.
Quoting myself, re questionable timing.

Kate's story was 'picked up' by 'a lady on tiktok' who has a H4C book in her amazon store front. Talks about snake oil and coffee enemas and shares stories of people who 'heal themselves' at home.

She's shared Kate's latest ned update and any questions in the comments asking 'how she did it' she's answering with Kate's insta handle.

Granted she says not everyone can afford to go to mexico but that H4C methods can be done at home. And mentions Kate healed herself naturally without any mention of the modern medicine.

It all very much seems intentional.
Mutual benefit.

It's like we've entered the medical influencer world.
Instead on preying on poor people with bad skin with James Cosmetics ads, they preying on poor people with cancer with a 'cure'. A very expensive cure.

Kate, H4C, her doctor friends, mermaid.. are they all in on it? Are they all scamming vulnerable people wanting to live?

I just binged Sympathy Pains today. Not so much scamming for money but a woman faking illnesses, living a life of lies for the attention. Pretty sad actually

Absolutely not white knighting but paying privately for services or having connections will get you places even in a medical setting.

I once had a lump come up in my breast and self-funded an urgent mammogram and US in East Melbourne. I called in the morning and was there in the afternoon and they had a Radiologist on site who went over everything with me before I left the building.

I also had problems with my 12 week scans for both babies and ended up in self-funding in another private clinic in East Melbourne who went over my results then referred me immediately to Royal Womens and was scanned further that day and back home.

I’m also related to a Medical Specialist in Brisbane and once we went on holidays on the GC and my Mum needed medical attention. Unfamiliar with hospitals in the area, we called my relative and within a couple of phone calls we were met at the Robina Hospital and were seen straight away by a doctor there.

Unfortunately sometimes it comes down to money and connections. We don’t have private health but we self-fund and have found it beneficial.

If you go through Kate's old posts (and some newer ones as well), she makes frequent references to having 'friends in high places' as a way of explaining how she's had certain things done or received quick results, etc. She plays it off as being funny/sarcastic, but there's clearly truth in it because her treatment in general is in no way representative of most people's experience with cancer.

Beware "crunchy moms," tradcore, and tradwives - they're usually anti-vaccine, anti-medicine, transphobic, anti-gay, and/or far-right. They all feed off each other like some sort of cult. Here's a good article about them. It's behind a paywall but I screenshot it for you. Worth the read - people like Kate feed into this group as well. One big circle jerk.

The MLM ShE-e-Oh’s are also rife in this space as well I reckon, as they encourage/prey on stay at home mums (for example) and tell them they can ‘have it all’.

I’d take a guess that the favours are given at first with good intention or otherwise thinking they’ll get something out of it (exposure, perhaps) and then it will wear thin really, really quickly. They’d have to be a fool to give her their mobile number.

I feel sorry for any medical receptionists who have to deal with her because I bet my food dehydrator that she would be a patronising piece to deal with.
