She's very smart so i'd suspect that's exactly why. Her poor mum, they have such a lovely bond - it must be very hard.
But sure it's 21st century it takes two seconds to either crop pics or edit boots - I find them really obnoxious tbh the first time was funny now it's just strange

This is going to knock her even more, I’d be very worried for her state of mind. Awfully sad 
Oh bless her, that is so sad. She was so, so close to her mum. I feel terrible for her!
