I do like the visual element of the road/pavement/etc though.
So shift the entire thing over to the left and add 34 feet to the reversing line?

I feel for the jury watching this debacle, Alessi and Welcher might as well just get a ruler out and measure their wicks and be done with it. Their fool waving is detracting from the evidence and Alessi losing his cool is weakening his arguments, he’s much more effective when he stays cool and just repeats questions until they are answered properly.
This made me chuckle
I’m not sure I’d agree he’s effective when repeating himself constantly, but it’s sure better than listening to his screeching

Im actually embarrassed by both of them, when Alessi started calling for the judge to tell him to behave it was like a kid “but Mom, he’s being mean and saying I’m doing stuff I’m not”, letting Welcher get to him this much has really weakened him IMO. Welcher comes across as petulant and uncooperative, but I don’t know that Alessi has done his evidence or his credibility the harm he wanted to. Although theres still time I suppose for some kind of slam dunk finale moment but I’m not holding my breath.This made me chuckle
I’d actually be really interested to see if there are any other trials televised or recorded that Dr Welcher has testified in that we could watch.
I think a lot of what he was saying got lost in that back and forward. Like the variation of the height of the car - 2 inches and + 3 inches. If the heights aren’t the same the measurements are inaccurate. That was just a lot of snarking at each other.
I think Brennan’s redirect was telling in how his cross of ARCCA is going to go; heavy reliance on the signal messages.
Did anyone hear the 'wow' after Brennan said 'I have nothing further your Honour'? I wonder who said that?
Id agree, as much as the jury should be able to look past it and see the evidence that performance by both of them massively detracted from some important points, I’m disappointed that Alessi lowered himself to behave as he did.

If I was working as a lawyer or expert witness, I'd use Signal too. We've seen all about the media hacking phones here in the UK. The guy from ARCCA upgraded his phone and deleted messages BEFORE being retained for the second trial.
I don't know why they didn't go with Knott Labs who did the reconstruction for Diana's Paris crash. They've worked on crime/collision/pedestrian reconstructions for years and have offices all over the US
Not to mention Brennan trying to break attorney client privilege by getting messages between Karen and her attorneys. They didn’t even know that hearing was happening when he did it. Sisitsky seemed like a fair judge.
From reading about the previous trials, I believe the CW have absolutely tightened up their approach and let Karen actually tell the story by interjecting her interviews with their various witnesses/points to be made. It’s been a very clever strategy and has been succinct and easy to follow.
I’ve also read they’ve had much fewer witnesses than the previous trial and only had those that have made the most impact which again I think has been easy to follow.
It’ll be interesting to see the angle, if any, the defence take other than trying to distract and confuse. Their ME, Elizabeth Lapasota, doesn’t look to be a good addition.

Ah, the guy from Aperture didn't take into account the suspension height difference of 5 inches with ignition on???
