My ex (lol) was like this and I was so delusional. I always mentioned wanting kids, and he'd say "Yeah, I'm not too bothered either way. Up to you.". Well, five years later when tit hit the fan and it was coming to settling down properly (we were both approaching 30, our friends were beginning to get married, have kids etc) that my ex dumped up in a cruel way, citing him not wanting to have kids as a primary reason. I should have known the whole time that he was secretly hoping it would never happen. And I feel like a fool wasting my time with him.
I truly hope Kara isn't as delulu as I was, because it took a long time to recover from the whole ordeal.

With them buying a house I can see Kara not going on as many trips, staying home probably having a baby. Whilst Nate goes on shorter trips and makes the videos, mostly him doing crazy exercise/activities that Kara wouldn't want to do. Then a few family vlogs/travel videos thrown in
They've already said they'll never vlog their home and family life. Neither their house, nor their children will ever feature in the videos.
They've made millions and have build businesses from their YouTube fame, so my guess would be that this will be their last full year of vlogging and traveling and if Kara gets pregnant as planned by the end of the year, next year will already have a massively reduced number of vlogs focused on Nate (with Rick and Dusty) and they might end the channel 2-3 years from now.

I just watched their Star of the Sea vlog, and it confirmed why I never subscribed, and I have a love/hate relationship with them. I liked them when they first started, but now, they just seemed off and really cringy.
Surprised Kara signed up for the October race if she's hoping to be pregnant by then. I'm sure a pregnant person could do it but she doesn't seem to like doing the exercise related videos from what I've seen
could be that her doctor recommended more physical activity and exercise as it could help with her epilepsy.

the race is a target they know they need to start training for so they can work on a gradual ramp up to the race and get her into exercising more. (and now that it was said on camera, she will have a harder time backing out of it)

Nate has always been a capitalist and money driven and Kara infantalizes herself both for him and the viewers and is the one selling it in front of the camera with her annoying baby voice and screeching at everything.

I don't know how I could tolerate it before but I just cannot anymore. It's extremely cringey to watch her do it, especially when in a different culture. I also feel second hand embarrassment whenever watching her experience any five star thing (by now that is getting boring) like she's been raised in a barn.They both seem very tone deaf when it comes to meeting people from other cultures. I'm not really surprised they get all excited about fake theme parks and tourist attractions which they claim to be"authentic villages" that have been there for "a thousand years". They both are very stereotypically American meaning you can tell from a mile away where they are from. Not a good look.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did go to North Korea and then a special invitation to Russia of course. The comment section of the latest video offers no critical views at all, everyone is just gushing about how wonderful it is and how they now really want to travel to China. Mission accomplished I guess.
They are shill still posting China videos... I'm done. Can't be about the money as they have plenty so why are they so interested in working for these guys... Odd. You can't convince me that they came up with these recent videos on their own without any influence.
