I think he’s a tube, don’t get me wrong, but I am happy for him that he got his time. I don’t like his coaching business thing but at least he does actually out the work in for his training (to my unqualified eye 🤣 happy to be told he does do things that make 0 sense!)

The intensity and the volume of his training seem insane to me but it seems to be working for him. It was quite sad to see the reaction of his wife. Clearly the family life has suffered immensely for this. I wonder whether some of her reaction was relief that he finally achieved his goal.

When you look at his training he didn't actually do a lot of long runs, but did a lot of Z1/Z2 double run days, which was probably easier on his body. None of this threshold tit that bits does, although I have noticed bits has been doing more easy runs so maybe he's been following Bester's training...

I thought the same. If that was me I would take a break to spend time with my family now, but nope he is off to NYC in a month and then will come back and continue until London marathon again. I hate him from personal experience but good on him for getting his time, but duck he's a self arshole

Parkrun cancelled because there were reports of a pon in all blue lurking around with a camera filming everyone.

The absolute state of it honestly! Oh btw...did everyone know he broke 2:20? He's not posted about it on his accounts much

Not really back to wearing his Garmin, because he didnt ever take it off. He wore the Huawei for ONE run and copy pasted some promotional running jargon into his description on strava. New watch day my a**
