I don't particularly like Rosey as she comes across very smug.
But my daughter has slept reasonably well since about 8 months and very rarely wakes. We're VERY lucky but it makes me kind of sad that people think we must have abused her and ignored her for that to be the case. Yes we have left her to cry on occasion but only when we know she's really tired and us going in has always just worked her up more. She doesn't have attachment issues, she's a very bright, chatty girl. Sleep training isn't all about 'cry it out' and yes, babies waking IS normal, but my personal opinion is sleep deprivation isn't a rite of passage and no one should feel guilty for trying to get more sleep.
I fucking abhor the charlatans charging hundreds for a pdf though.

Just my two cents
That’s the thing though, all babies are individuals and their temperaments play a huge part in how they sleep. Just chill mama ignores this with her blanket routines and settling methods. Some babies will drift off after a few minutes of whinging but others (mine included 😂) will just get more and more hysterical the longer you leave them which is where it would turn into cry it out. Absolutely no judgement for anyone that has used any sort of sleep training, the issue is Rosey’s deceitfulness and smoke and mirrors. Oh and her horrible little mouth 🤮

Rosey's biggest problem is she cares more about being "seen" by influencers and z listers than she does about genuinely helping struggling parents. She makes me cringe so hard.

I hate when people are like oh whats wrong with your baby... what are you doing wrong they don’t sleep 🤨. Also if your baby sleeps its a good baby. Thats why I also dislike sleep experts- it insinuates that something is wrong with your child when really some just don’t sleep well.

I’ve finally unfollowed her. She has an amazing gift for making others feel like a massive failure. My baby’s the same age and not sleeping through. We use pouches for weaning at the mo because I’m totally overwhelmed with a toddler. I cannot stand to see her boasting about how well her baby sleeps and how she’s giving him only home cooked meals. Well I say that- until she’s *gifted some baby food then I’m sure she’ll be all over it.
oh and just to add she 100% had beeeeeeeeee (just call him his proper name, ffs) in his own room before 6 months. Not that I have any issue nor am I judging but what pisses me off is that she goes on about safe sleep guidelines and doesn’t follow them herself!
Feels good to get that out 😂

It’s not so much what she does, as how she does it. Firstly, she does tell people to do what works for you but if you are desperate then buy a course. She is selling a service like anyone or any business and you don’t have to buy it. I get that its to sleep deprived desperate people though. However, The crawling up the assses of awful celeb instagram mummy’s is ridiculous and undermining her brand IMO. Like Kate Lawler, she is obsessed with sleep and so rigid that she cant change nappies or adjust bath time. She is not a good advertisement for Rosey. She also follows CHarlotte Dawson - one of the worst, neglectful mothers on instagram with no routine at all. It’s very clear she loves getting shout outs from them. She should be careful who she follows as it makes her look bad and I’ve unfollowed for that and other reasons. Also, The suggestion at you need all this equipment bugs me too. baby’s dont need open top cups from Amazon at 6 months. A cheap one from the local shop will do! They will learn. I just think naive, easily influenced mothers could be “influenced” into spending lots of money they don’t have. I think its unethical. Lastly, the upgrades and freebies!! 🙄

The thing is, her course could be the best in the world but I’d still not like HER because if her smug attitude and constant sucking up to zelebs to get insta famous 🤷‍♀️

It makes me really sad when she talks about getting babies into a routine from birth and making them learn how to self settle. The baby has been all tucked up in the womb for 9 months and it must be bloody scary coming out into the big wide world. They need comforting and reassuring, not left to deal with it alone!

You’ve said it perfectly. Sleep train your child if you want. Cuddle your child forever if you want. But don’t be fooled by people trying to make money of you. I bet she has a list of pregnant z listers so she can offer them her help immediately. It’s like super nanny telling people that breastfeeding past 1 is disgusting and has to be stopped. Pointless and disgusting behaviour.
I do agree with some thing just chill witch says, it’s nice to see someone speak about the dangers out cot bumpers, when many ‘celebs’ go on about ‘these ones are breathable’. But she’s still greedy

I feel like she’s really changed her tune on these, a few weeks ago in a Q&A she slated the snoo saying they were dangerous, went against lullaby trust advice and made parents miss feeding ques 🤔 put a link to the lullaby trust every time, and now this? I wonder if she got a load of stick for slating them and now is trying to go back to being holier than thou?! 😂

I get the guilt looking at her page because it is all messages from people saying how fantastic their kids slept after 2 days of the course!! Is that possible?!?!
I know someone who did sleep training and raved saying their toddler slept the next day but then the toddler slowly went back to waking at 4:30am and she let slip that she would still get up in the night to lay her back down etc.... so her little one wasn’t actually sleeping through.

She can calm it controlled or self sooth or self settle or whatever but she’s charging people to tell them to let their kids cry it out. I’d be fuming if I was upset or needed something and I was crying and my husband just patted me and walked away. Why treat a child different?!

Exactly. It goes against every mother’s instinct to want to comfort their baby to sleep. It’s wrong to suggest other wise in my opinion. Leaving them to cry is horrible and I don’t think it should be promoted. Why would you want to send them asleep when they are so distraught. If they want to be held hold them! It’s our job as mothers to look after them. Not shut the door on their crying faces 😔😔😔
I hate the whole ‘they aren’t upset crying, they are whinging and manipulating you to cuddle them’... they are babies, if someone feels wrong they cry. If they feel ok they don’t cry. They don’t manipulate you, plan things overnight. Whatever noise they are using to call a parent is cause they need a parent

Oooh I didn’t know there was a thread about her but saw she posted about tattle and had to come have a look.
I’m ashamed to say but I also bought two of her courses, 6-9 and 18-4yrs. I kind of new I was being suckered even when buying them but you live in hope. The quality is shocking. Like they didn't even get proofread.
I think it’s the routine part and timings that most people need help with. Not shushing and patting.

Possibly. I’ve just skip past those stories. I couldn’t watch my baby cry let alone walk out the room. I know one of her q&a’s she said you can stay in the room and each night eventually get closer to the door but it didn’t sit well with us. She’s found a vulnerable market and cashed in on it. The course was only £49.99 which is a small dent for the sake of getting your baby to sleep but I was expecting more in the course tbh
No two babies are the same and all she says is be persistent.

I really dislike this woman

I fell for the sales pitch 3 years ago in a sleep deprivation haze with 45min wake ups for 3 months and it never worked and my 3.5yr old still doesn’t sleep

however my reflux 9month old has slept through since 4 months and I’ve done nothing differently so it truly is due to temperament and baby’s personality and all these money grabbing sleep consultants preying on vulnerable new mums (and dads)

I can’t believe those screenshots. She says all the time she doesn’t do strict routines and that moms should get out lots n b flexible but it looks like you can only leave your house for an hour in the morning and maybe briefly at the end of the day?! What the fuck!
it’s way more cry-it-out than I thought it would be too!!! She’s such a liar!
