The key problem with the Attenborough rumours is that they are not tied to anything. As far as innuendo goes, they are entirely innuendo and nothing more. Unless someone knows something concrete? As to DJ, well if the people watching his big house while he's away for many weeks filming decided to trade on his celebrity to lure in young people, then that is hardly his fault. I just hope the rumours aren't true. I still haven't got over Rolf (RIP)!
Same. I don't just think that is hindsight talking: there was always something odd about him. That said, I did enjoy the programme as did millions of people!

Has anyone else ever wondered if JS’ father might have abused him? He was apparently very reluctant to speak about him and would always change the subject if he was ever questioned about his father in interviews.
I wonder this especially because JS’ brother was also accused of similar behaviour (sexual abuse of children and women) in the 70’s. Not that it would make a difference in terms of JS being a massive, evil twit but it does make me wonder about what went on in that household.

Very possible. He was the youngest as well, I believe. It’s very messed up and not to go all armchair psychologist but it might even explain his general, overly-weird persona.
I think the near-death experiences- pneumonia as an infant, mine explosion as a teen, possibly contributed.
I've never thought of a link but you could be right...same with Scofe and his brother. Thank god cases like this are rare but it does make you wonder when there's 2 in the same household.

It was suggested the sisters kept quiet because they benefited from having him as a brother and he looked after their Mum 'very well'. If anything happened to James, then their Mum would be up tit creek.
A niece or great niece claimed he abused her, and the family kept quiet
