Totally agree! Do you know which company they used and which brand has taken them away on this trip? They havent promoted a brand at all! I have seen loads of tiktokers getting taken away skiing with Jack Wills and theyre only allowed to wear JW the whole time and they throw JW parties and promote them the whole time! This “brand trip” was just a huge overpriced instagram shootTotally agree, I go a ski holiday to actually ski and it's so expensive, especially as we need to go the school holidays. I purposefully will not use any company that gives away free ski holidays to people who don't already ski. In fact I don't use these package companies as they're generally more expensive

What’s DHgate?DHgate lol
It’s a chines website that sell “designer” thingsWhat’s DHgate?
I think it was crystal ski but I'm not 100,% as I only seen it mentioned once in her stories. I'd be raging if I was the pr person who booked them this piss up. Anyone with any money wanting to book a ski holiday would want to know about the actual holiday , the resort, the ski hire etc. Not some young ladies getting steaming. I would guess most of her followers who ski wouldn't be booking an expensive ski holiday in Val d'sere unless they or their parents are minted they'd be doing it as cheap as possible as it's so expensive. A cheap ski holiday is expensiveTotally agree! Do you know which company they used and which brand has taken them away on this trip? They havent promoted a brand at all! 100% this! Her parents bought her a merc for Christmas when she was about 21??? Maybe a bit older. No idea what they do but she defo makes them look good. Full family of rangers fans and she’s now marrying an ex playerI feel like she’s the type of person that’s always been the golden girl of her family and they’ve just blown smoke up her a her full life. I followed her and her cousin Olivia on ig years ago and her Aunty, Olivia’s mum, would always leave mad cringey comments on every one of her posts but barely acknowledge her actual daughter.
Her family are connected to gangsters so it’s not a mystery where they get their money. Aye that’s probably part of it but I feel like it’s been since childhood cos the main character syndrome is strong with Jilly.100% this! I hate to say it but I think she got the eBay thing because of her ‘different’ looks. The ginger hair, she’s a fashion girly but not many people will see the ad and have any clue. But if you notice all the people starring in the advert have very very different looksIt’s probably been mentioned a hundred times on this thread already but the fact that her brands motto is “normalise outfit repeating” and I’ve never once seen her repeat an outfit? She pushes fast fashion constantly then lands a job with eBay trying to encourage young people to thrift. She’s never thrifted, done a haul with secondhand clothes, showed how to find good high street brands secondhand, nothing like it. It just makes these big brands look so silly, someone commented on her recent EBay/Love Island reel saying “why is this person representing the show when they’ve never shopped secondhand?”. It’s really grinding my gears.
But yet gets taken on an expensive ski trip…beyond annoying! You can’t ski, we get it. It’s not a personality trait. Move on.
It’s just a shame, they could’ve easily filled their “diversity” quota with loads of other sustainable influencers. I can think of about 10 off the top of my head who have a huge range of styles and looks. The other people in the ads don’t seem to be sustainable either. It’s all a facade. It’s going to take years for the majority of people to catch on to how much bs these brands feed them and it’s only the planet that suffers. I really doubt any of these ads have influenced people to shop secondhand. People will just look for “dupes” of the outfits on fast fashion sites for ease and quickness. And I hate to say it but eBay of all sites? Maybe if Vinted or Depop got the job it would make some difference, but they are too busy paying people like Megan Ellaby to flog stuff “for charity”. I cannot imagine the younger insta obsessed demographic logging onto eBay to find dupes 🫣I hate to say it but I think she got the eBay thing because of her ‘different’ looks. I wrote about this and forgot to post. It’s defo not a brand trip, I can’t find where she was talking about it but she defo said they booked a girls trip and made out it was for funsies. Not to sound naïve but is it defo a paid trip? Just because I haven’t seen any sponsored posts, some of the girls aren’t influencers and Jess was posting saying that she had found and booked where they were staying.
