He’s always seemed quite vapid but I can imagine it’s also quite a lot to take in if they’ve only just found this out, I doubt baby diaries are the type of content he wants to post either.
My daughter is a 2nd year student midwife and said this isn't usually a happy ending.... it's so serious that her hospital doesn't deal with TTTS antenatal care and women are referred to a specialist out of county centre 40 miles away.
It says she’s pre-stage so hopefully she’ll have a good outcome. A friend of mine had identical twins & medics were concerned they were conjoined & then had ttts. Both children survived but she didn’t risk another pregnancy as apparently if you have one set of identical twins like that you are at greater risk in any subsequent pregnancies.
Am I being a bit thick but why does she need to update anyone about this? Surely the only people who need to know are the parents and any family or close friends? Why the sad face updates for complete strangers? I find all this oversharing of babies really weird
I do actually feel for her, this sounds like a pretty hard thing to go through. Like yeah it’s private and don’t get why she needs to be all over the internet with it, but also wouldn’t wish any harm to her or the babies.
It’s a really unpleasant surgery and it’s no wonder she’s terrified as it carries huge risks for the babies. I have identical twins and there was concerns they had TTTS, but fortunately they didn’t, but I remember my consultant talking me through the surgery and risks.
Really hoping her and her babies will be ok
