I’m so confused by this girl, please can someone explain to me

Is her name ‘Jesselle’ pronunced Jezzelle or is it Jess Elle? Because I’ve never heard her say her own name or see anyone refer to her as ‘Jess’ 🤦🏼‍♀️
I thought she was called Jesselle for ages 😂😂 but I think it's Jess Elle!

Her name is Jess. Elle isn't her real middle name but she liked the sound of it apparently 🤷🏻‍♀️

I used to really like Jess' content, found it refreshing to see someone in a mid-plus size body on Insta, and I actually liked her style and clothing recs. I also really liked her financial advice stories, about things like Monzo and Plum. Then like everyone else here I found the constant moaning and complaining tiresome, and I cannot stand the cringey outfit reels with her little Instagram clique. How are influencers not absolutely embarrassed to be doing this kind of stuff?

I also hate the fast fashion culture they're all peddling; they'll act like saints for selling on Depop because "Reusing ✌🏻😚" but still drive the demand by buying hauls from Shein and Primark, which they'll wear all of once for a naff little transition reel 🙄.

Anyway, I don't need to worry so much about it anymore. She blocked me for liking a comment someone posted on her freebie trip photos saying they were disappointed she accepted a free trip to the UAE considering their terrible human rights record, especially for women and the LGBT+ community.

Refusing free stuff based on principles ✋🏻😒 ---> All expenses paid trip to the UAE for ~ *content*~ 👈🏻😏

She blocked you, wow 😱 that's how you know you haven't made it as an Influencer your comments are so little you can read and react to every single one.

Well your missing nothing she's just complaining again and saying she is struggling to find motivation to post (or to work) lazy girl

Yeah I think there were maybe 10 likes or something on the comment (I could see from another insta page I manage) and I think everyone got blocked. Comment wasn't deleted but I reckon it was left to bait more likes and therefore more blocking. I was annoyed at first (because previously I'd engaged with her posts, responded to stories etc so felt it was a little unjust), but definitely don't think I am missing much really.

To be honest it wasn't even a harsh comment to have liked and I admire influencers more if they were to respond and address things like that; it's not hard for her to have said she disagrees or even admit she didn't think about it etc. I think it throws into question every other brand collab she's done because now I wouldn't believe it if she said "Oh I only ever share products / services I actually believe in".

No I 100% agree with your comment and if I'd have seen it, I would've liked it too!!

Don’t get me wrong, I can see why you’d want a group of mates who work in the same field as you but it seems to me that Chloe and Jess in particular literally have no friends other than those who do Instagram?

i can’t decide whether they have other friends and just don’t post them because it doesn’t earn them engagement, or whether they choose to only have Instagram pals which in my opinion is weird

I honestly can't believe this thread is so quiet! Her stories about how ducked she is after one swim and then crying about it... I cant even imagine how she would cope with a real job and responsibilities. Also her clothes are always too small.

I totally agree, I always am surprised that more people don’t find them unbearable! Her and a couple of her friends as well preaching body acceptance and then desperately trying to cling to a “mid size” label when as you say, their clothes are far too small. I don’t get it

The crying, yeah, don't get why there was a need for that, however, I had Covid the week before she did. I went to an appointment yesterday, popped into one shop on my way home and then did a few hours of overtime from home and I've barely been able to function today as I'm so drained. Still have a cough, my asthma is really bad and I keep getting breathless alongside the fatigue so I don't think it's beyond belief that covid has left her fatigued too.

I do agree that this thread is super quiet for her posts though.. I feel the same about her and Chloe. They don't wear clothes that are the right size at all. All this body positivity movement, that's fine, but it's not positivity to be squeezing into too small clothes imo, accept the size you actually are and accept you've put weight on since living together.

It really surprises me that Chloe has the most followers out of the group as her content doesn’t really seem to bring anything to the table whereas Jess talks a lot about skincare, financials etc. i also thought Chloe always looked so miserable on all of the vlogs from Abu Dhabi .

But I’m with everyone else on Jess being insufferable. I feel like she moans so much on her stories so she has something to post about but it’s such trivial stuff compared to people with actual real life jobs and issues. They have an “admin day” and act like they’ve put in 40hrs

and don’t get me started on the videos where they walk backwards then kick one foot, makes me want to scream

She does always look like she's got a face like a smacked a.

The flamingo stance as they've seemingly started tagging it. I'd be genuinely so bloody embarrassed to see anyone do that in public let alone do it myself!

She's a moanbag. She doesn't deserve the opportunities she's given at all..

Her voice complaining (which is all the time) would give a painkiller a headache

I get the feeling they don't, either cos they're really as insufferable as they seem (imagine having a friend whose sole aim and purpose is thinking about the content they could get from something, rather than enjoying their time with you?!), or, it's because they're a closed off little clique that nobody else is worthy of. Does anybody remember Alexa, who used to be part of the "Fab Four", prior to Amy and Maria joining? She seems to have been to totally ostracised from the group, and I actually liked her content - she seemed much more normal and less obsessed with the influencer lifestyle than the rest.

Hahah oh god this riles me up too - spend 4 hours gossiping in Starbucks with your tiny laptops open, and act like you've boss-babed your way to world peace.

Oh and if I saw someone doing those little outfit reels IRL, I'd totally walk through their shot on purpose 😂😏

I felt a bit sorry for her when she was crying on her stories about her confidence being knocked when some clothes she bought didn’t fit. But I still don’t understand why Jess (and her mates) insist on buying skin-tight, teeny tiny mini skirts and dresses that cling to every bit of their bodies and #midsizestyle when it just doesn’t work. I think Chloe is the worst for it too, the satin dresses she keeps buying where you can tell as soon as she’d start walking in them her a cheeks would be hanging out of the bottom 🤢

And don’t get me started on the fact they’ve flown to Milan and back in a DAY. That combined with their throwaway lifestyle and cheap clothes. Ew. Plus they did that stupid walk in a line and kick your leg thing in the middle of Milan, the second hand embarrassment I got even being in a different country was too much!

Am I completely naive, or can anyone else not fathom how this group of girls mostly who have between 80-100k followers have been gifted TWO holidays in the space of a couple of months?

Like surely there are better influencers out there and no one is booking a cruise after seeing some flamingo reels?

Someone has asked about her username. I knew Elle wasn't her real one but her explanation kinda makes sense. Jess L King sounds like JessElleKing
